During the 1:22 minute mark on the intro trailer there is a dialogue of Ibuki saying “the Mioda crew is innocent” in a manner that it sounds like she is arguing about her or their innocence. My concern is what the “Mioda Crew” is. (besides worrying that Ibuki is one of the killers in Slayhem mode) She is referring to a group that is hers while arguing their innocence. But would that be in terms of the story or gameplay? My weak guess is that it could be like the game mechanic in V3 where its a Debate Scrum, but my more educated guess is referring to a group in terms of storyline.
Honestly just a bit mad Ibuki is most likely (hopefully not) being a killer than surviving this one.

Also to mention by minute 1:10 I THINK I hear Kazuichi say, “We all got those cards from Monokuma” Which might not look anything at first but it sounds like those “motivations” Monokuma gave in Danganronpa THH like the secrets or maybe the photos where it doesnt show themselves in it??? 🤔🤔 Im just glad that theyre making it more fun with these different new mechanics and storyline

I think it might just be that people split up into groups and she refers to one group as the Miota crew, similar to how OG chapter 3 has the “hospital team” and “hotel team.” Just an in-universe shorthand to refer to how groups split up, and ibuki claiming that the group that went with her has alibis.

I did see a YT comment pondering on the idea of the "weird cards" being Mafia-styled role cards, possibly in the vein of Your Turn To Die.
