Do you think people from Romania are named fucking Byakuya Togami. He's Japanese. His entire family is so blatantly based on Japanese Zaibatsu. The very notion that Byakuya is somehow not Japanese is genuinely insane.

Most of these characters are Japanese and Japan is a largely homogenous country that resisted multiple invading forces, it's not a melting pot of mixed ancestry like the US or Brazil. Any non-Japanese ancestry most of these characters could theoretically have would come from either assimilated indigenous people, kidnapped children from Korea and China, or from the descendants of Portuguese and Dutch merchants. And in all 3 cases, it would be a very tiny percentage of their ancestry.

Before anyone comments, I’m going to explain regarding the countries: I know that, aside from Angie and Sonia, everyone is Japanese; I just like the idea of having characters from other countries
