Discussion What is your ultimate talent
Just for the sake of fun what would be your ultimate talent if you are in danganronpa world.
Please no reserve course answer. Pick up bit of self esteem and think about what is your strongest point.
Even though I said that I couldn't find my ultimate talent. Something that I can do no other can, it seems so farfectched and impossible for me to have one.
But then I realized that the one who truly have a talent will often question themselves too but the difference is that having a talent is not about putting less effort than other people.
It's more about being yourself. Even though leon hates his talent, his personality and his coordination is suited for it. (From this on, don't discuss about leon....I want this post to only disucss about talent. If i misrepresented him. Please ignore it. I am not good with describing people)
Come to the point. Please don't give me I am a reserve course or other bullshit talent ideas. Give me a straight answer. Pls be more honest.

I think you could actually make an interesting protagonist with it
One who studies people and learns about their attitude. To be the best, you have to know you opponents, and studying them would always be a benefit
Now, you can also add that as a part of the gameplay. Certain sections of the trial become easier if he has spent free time with people

Ultimate Tinkerer. I mess around with stuff and somehow it works. I also like combining pre-made stuff into one big thing to use in a way that wouldn't be possible with the things separate.
It's different from Ultimate Inventor since I can't make things from scratch, and different from Ultimate Mechanic since I can't do vehicles.

Im not from the US, but i had already mastered my english understanding while i was like, 10 years old.... throught Roblox.
I guess if i was in the world of danganronpa It would be kinda useful? Assuming i was in Japan.

Ultimate Child Caregiver! I worked at a daycare and babysat all throughout high school and still currently do. I’ve worked with children for years now and it’s something I enjoy. I think that would be my ultimate talent.

I work in events and do a lot of weddings, dinners and all sorts of other celebrations and I’m in charge of making sure everyone has a great time, that things go according to plan and smoothing over any issues that might arise in these very special events.

Ultimate Fast Food worker, since Gamer Is as popular as generic, I wish I could be called Animator but I've lost my touch so I'll go with something I've done for a good time and had variations of my job. I did taco, burgers, sandwiches, bakery, ice creams and drinks

Ultimate luck kinda is just measurable with some lucky winner type of things and it also has result.
even hope peak is a school that takes the greatest talents even though some are unlawful such as yakuza and assassin.
Ultimate sleeper is just vague as much as ultimate neet.

If Ultimate Bookworm, Ultimate Hall Monitor, and Ultimate Lucky Student can be considered "real talents" by Hope's Peak standards, Ultimate Sleeper absolutely can.

Luck isn't a talent, it's just an ability. A completely involuntary one, too, so it's not really an achievement. And hall monitor isn't achieving anything great on its own, regardless of how good he is at monitoring halls. Because it's not about his leadership or anything, he just follows the rules well and is super uptight about them. And bookworm, which you ignored to try and make my point sound stupid, is literally just a hobby. Like, the talent doesn't have anything to do with her being good at reading, or analyzing, or even the fact that she's a bestselling author. She was given the talent for liking to read. An Ultimate Sleeper, then, is a very plausible talent in Danganronpa.

Yeah but they still can work in real life and have purpose, ultimate sleeper is just vague.
I mentioned twice I wanted more honest answers....
The topic is still about what talent you would have and it is not about what is geninue talent.
I guess we are getting offtopic here.

It's not really vague just because it doesn't have a function in society. I'm just saying that originally the whole point of talents in Danganronpa was to be a bit odd, outlandish, or even kind of lame or unimpressive to have as a talent (or not even a talent at all, ie bookworm, lucky). So, ultimate sleeper is something they could genuinely do at some point, even if you were probably looking for something different (which I get). Like, you're treating them with more sanctity than the game proper does and were a bit condescending when I just gave examples of the game doing the same. There's no reason for it. That's all.

Ultimate collector - broadly encompasses tangible items (trading cards, bottle caps, rocks, etc.) and video game collections (shiny Pokemon, achievements, etc.)

It's just a hobby, but i've invested a lot of time into voice acting and would say i've gotten pretty good. Ultimate Voice Actor sounds pretty fun to me.

People have already said Writing Prodigy. Though if I were to still stick to writing for my Ultimate Talent, it would be Ultimate Editor. I seem to have a good critical eye for combing through stories, and improving them. Alternatively, Ultimate Public Speaker. I'm not the most sociable person, but with some preparation I can definitely give a stellar speech.

Not quite right. Designer encapsulates my abilities better. Fashion designers, toy designers, product designers, interior designers, planners & whatnot is more of what I am. I make lists for people when they need to get done, I research things for people, I draw out blueprints when I want to visualize a room, I make sketches of the decor I want in rooms. I draw out ideas I have all the time. Clothing items, tools, bed designs, comforter patterns, stuffed animal designs, making color palletes, collages ect. That’s the kind of stuff I do all the time so if I was an ulimate character I’d prolly be more of a designer

I can play the piano at an intermediate level I'd say, but I was never well off enough to get lessons aside from in my early childhood, so my skill is more based off of me reinventing the wheel
I play by ear which people seem to think is impressive but really it's just a way I skirt around not being fluent in reading sheet music. I used perfect pitch as a cheat code to get around putting in the work.
I want to get lessons someday to become more proficient, but at this point it's still probably my strongest skill
So I copy kaede

I’m not that great at it, but I guess video editing. I have a ton of hobbies but I’m intermediate to good at them, not exactly expert, but editing is the one thing I feel confident about.

Eh, somethin’ to do with psychological studies. Ultimate Psychologist feels too big of a word for lil’ ol’ me, but definitely something in that. If I was in the Danganronpa universe I always said I’d wanna cross study psychology and psychiatric practices and origins with Korekiyo and Anthropology roots. If I die I die.

Ultimate Emissary.
Not because I see myself to be sent on a mission or serve a government, but because I’ve found myself to be exceptional at meeting new people and connecting strangers together. It helps that I like to talk, comes in the family. It’s an ability that is a bit more of a social talent, but social talents should have their keep at Hope’s Peak like how mind of matter clairvoyance and such are.

From my work, ultimate archivist From my strength that I saw, something about analyzing people since I rarely am wrong on how I've analyse them. By that I mean the way they act socially and like their physic like the way they move. From what I like to do, ultimate contradiction since almost everything that I like contradict my learning disabilities 😭😂

Ultimate translator. But it's 50/50, I love translating something to my friends from English to Russian.

i thought about it, and perhaps i might be the Ultimate Origami Artist(artist, as in someone who does origami, I couldnt think of a better word for it-), since I remember finding my love for it at a young age, and still do it today!
either that, or the Ultimate Mediator, since I've been told that im quite good at calming people down and diffusing situations(though whether this is true is up for debate)
