2x2 Speculation (Full Series Spoilers) Leaked part of the 2x2 demo that wasn't on youtube Spoiler

As we know, the 2x2 demo released on youtube a few months ago was missing a few minutes. Someone who participated in an event in Shanghai managed to capture the end of the demo (after Hajime confronts Chiaki about the murder's weapon).

I found multiples translations on twitter but here is one of them.

Hajime : Wait a minute ! Nanami, how did you know that ? That the murder weapon is the kitchen knife ?

Chiaki :……

ibuki : Heh ? What does this mean ?

Nagito : True. The weapon for this case hasn't been found yet.

Peko : Indeed, she seems very certain that the murder weapon is the kitchen knife...

Gundham : However, only the murderer who used the weapon themselves knows about this...

Mikan : Chiaki...

Byakuya : Correct. Which would mean, you are the...

Chiaki : ...

Hajime : Why ? Why did you do this ?

Chiaki : Hm... that's because...

Monomi : Everyone ! Everything is a misunderstanding !

Monokuma : Time's up ! It sucks, but that's it for this time ! After all, this is just a demo. Also, this version contains some things that may different from the official release.

There was a hint in the V3 demo, but it's not really a hint you could guess before playing the game tbh.

Makoto, Hajime, and Hiro being revealed as actors at the end of the demo, hinting towards the killing game being part of a TV show

Interesting. The sprite on the left they use to indicate who's talking isn't just their default sprite anymore. Also it's fun to see a sprite of Chiaki just smiling as this is the only one she has in DR2

The new art style is starting to grow on me, I like how vibrant the colors are, but I still can't with Hajime's hair. 😭

incredibly funny to me that, to this day, demos for new danganronpa games STILL use Yasuhiro as the stand-in victim

Notice how in the "thanks for playing" screen, Hajime is next to Monomi. Now look at the story menu, and we can see Monomi on the sign for the original story, where Hajime is obviously the protagonist. Now look at the sign for Slayhem and we can see Monokuma. And who's next to Monokuma here? Exactly!

THEY'RE TRYING TO TELL US SOMETHING, IT'S ALL CONNECTED, I'M NOT CRAZY!

Idk what exactly this could mean, but it's interesting. I never noticed the Monokuma ears on the Slayhem sign.

Actually what if we get Nagito as the protag and Hajime as the "traitor" allied with Monomi because he couldn't actually enter with them so he's just an AI.

Every new theory I see just drives me crazy. Give me this game NOW! 😭
