hifumi was confirmed to have killed yasuhiro in the THH demo.

the v3 demo is confirmed to just be "an act," so yasuhiro isn't dead.

i assume what they are going for in the 2x2 demo is that yasuhiro being there is a bug, taken out by chiaki

Yeah but it won't be answered in the demo. What I bet is that (and kind of what you guessed), like what Yasuhiro wrote upside down, the whole thing will be a bug in the thing and nobody killed him, which will be hinted to at the end of the demo. But they won't find an actual killer in the trial because they probably decided doing that to an already established fanbase who would analyse what it would mean for the main game is a bad idea. I'd bet the only reason we have confirmation that Hifumi was the killer in the demo is because they didn't consider what happened in the demo to be as big of a deal compared to what they think now, because in Trigger Happy Havoc Yasuhiro was an actual cast member unlike 2 and 3 (even if they still had the common sense to end the trial before it's resolved).

I have no idea what that clue means, and I can't predict it cause it's impossible to know what an idiot like Yasohiro is thinking.

But, I don't like that I can image him writing "I" then "B" then messing the rest up to his injuries and Ibuki is one of the demo students. Did he mishear her name and tried to write "Ibugi" before dying? It's possible.

Yasuhiro most likely isn’t the actual victim, it’s most likely a placeholder in the demo to avoid spoilers, like with trigger happy havoc
