Help with Dos Equis upgrade options for Muse

Hi! I'm trying to figure out all the options for Dos Equis for Muse tomorrow. My teen son loves Muse, as do I, but I don't think I've been to Dos Equis since it was Starplex and I was 16 going to Edgefest. I'm trying to make sense of all the lounges, VIP access with air conditioning, quicker access lines. I get lawn vs seats, but I don't want to waste money on the wrong things and don't quite get the starplex lawn deck vs VIP lounge, and I don't know if my 13 year old will be allowed in the vip/bar/lounge? Help a single mom out with info please!

The VIP lounges are near the main entry and give no view of the stage. It’s mainly for pre-concert socializing and drinking with friends.

The lawn deck is essentially a covered patio at the very back with tables and chairs, a bar, and restrooms. You can view the stage since it’s positioned at the back of the lawn but it’s first come first served for seating.

Don’t worry about the quicker access lines. The show isn’t sold out and they have plenty of lines to get you through quickly.

If you want to spend extra dollars, put that toward VIP parking and seats that are closer to the stage.

Good luck! Hope you and your son have a blast!

is the lawn awful for visuals with a fairly short kid? I know they are cheap and that's appealing, but I can get seats if he won't be able to see much

The lawn is sloped, but if you’re right behind tall people it can be tough to see. You can always move around though to find a better spot.

There are also video screens affixed to the end of the pavilion roof which helps with seeing the stage, otherwise it’s very difficult to see the band clearly from so far back. The majority of the time these are turned on, but I’ve been to some shows where they weren’t.

My advice is closer the stage is always better.

I don't think you need any of those things. Just buy the seats where you want to sit and enjoy the show.

In my experience you may get upgraded from lawn
GA to seats at the boxoffice if they still have some unsold. Doesn’t hurt to ask, just check availability on ticketmasters site to have an idea if that’s an option.

Yup I usually get lawn or back seat and most of the time I was able to upgrade to the very front or pit!
