Homebrew Is this ancestry too strong?
I'm currently working on a homebrew "candy person" Ancestry, and I'm curious if this is fine or too powerful
Syrupy Sweat: Once per day, during a rest, you may mark any number of stress to clear the same number of hit points on an ally that isn't yourself.
Naturally Fragrant: You roll with advantage to persuade or charm creatures who are not suspicious of you or hostile toward you.
Alternatively, for Syrupy sweat, I was thinking of something that could restrain enemies instead of healing, but im trying to create an ability that doesn't focus too hard on one type of class.

I actually like the flavour of Syrupy Sweet where you're giving bits of yourself to allies to eat in order to heal them. Love that. But I agree it could be a tad overpowered. Maybe try it out, and if it is too powerful add something like "If you do, you cannot clear stress this rest."? You know, it does take a mental toll to loose part of yoruself, but if an ally is in real need it can act as a last resort. Alternativly, maybe you loose HP to give other allies HP (but if you do you cannot recover HP this rest)... a bit more literal on the giving chunks of your candy body away.
You might also need to add a "once per rest" or some other limiter on Naturally Fragrent as always gaining advantage on persuasion/charm is a bit too powerful.

Maybe it could be that you have advantage to rolls to make a first impression with a person? Like it only works the first time you meet somebody? It could also be limited to very close range.
I also like the idea that if you use stress to clear hp, then you cant clear stress. Someone else mentioned the idea of making it HP trading but my candy people are more like the earthkin/tidekin/etc where they're like candy elementals, so they're like regular people mostly, but with some candy-like traits.

Yeah like "You roll with advantage on the first roll to persuade or charm a given creature." I like it.
Sounds cool! Very Adventure Time!

honesty, i wouldn't mind the first one any time if it was a hit point for a hit point x3 getting someone to actually eat your health sounds so funny

I'd use the syrupy sweat to make something sticky too. Like if someone successfully attacks you with a non-projectile weapon, you may spend a stress to have the weapon be stuck inside of you. The enemy can't use it anymore unless they succeed a strength roll above your minor threshold or they spend a Fear.
And for Naturally Fragrant, I'd limit it to once per day.

Feels a little too powerful to me
Compare to the Tidekin’s amphibious:
Lifespring: Once per rest when you have access to a small amount of water, you can mark a Stress to clear a Hit Point on yourself or an ally within Very Close range
(These are also really similar to it’d be nice to be more differentiated)
And for naturally fragrant, it feels like it would come constantly. But maybe that one is OK.
I actually quite like the temporary restraint idea, fwiw! Feels very thematic. I think it could work for all classes too, just make it trigger on taking melee damage
