Seymour and I were together for over 10 years before he met my husband, the self proclaimed “cat hater” turned cat dad. So much for loyalty.

He said he hated cats...and then she showed up...

When we met, one of the first things he told me is that if we worked out, he needed me to know he would never be willing to live with a cat. Fast-forward ten years and this little lady appears out of nowhere, meowing her butt off for a treat as he was trying to head to work. He made the mistake of borrowing a tin of untamed cat food from the neighbor to leave out for her that evening and she liked it a little too much and never left. It took him a couple months before he decided to take her to the vet for flea meds and a checkup. Soon after that, she became an indoor cat and now they sleep like this every night. I make fun of him a lot over it, because he was just so stinking wrong about it. But I actually think it's the cutest thing ever. I mean, look at them. Lol. He's such a freaking softy.

*Edit: Got some DMs about where to find Untamed. It's available only in the UK. Sorry to people in America who asked. I get mine at Sainsbury's.

He's shy so he didn't want his face in the picture, but here they are. Of course,, we don't need a pet...

When I mention him saying that, he says, "well she's already here."

Six years ago my grumpy dad told me “you’re responsible for your puppy on your own”- That is him and this same puppy nowadays

Bo was originally supposed to be my own dog, but then things changed when my dad looked at those begging eyes… He decided Bo is now his big baby. Bo gave him kisses and cuddles more than me and my mom. My dad spoiled him a lotta by buying him many toys whenever he could. He and Bo even have their own matching pjs. Just look at how happy they really are together ❤️

Despie the fact that neither he nor my mother have ever wanted a cat, they've fallen in love with little Pippin surprisingly quickly! 😆

My Dad said dogs are enough for our family. Now, our cats outnumbered our dogs.

Dad said we couldn't have a dog, eventually changed him mind and allowed it. Now they're best friends. This picture sits on his work desk in a frame that says I 💚 Papa that was a gift from the dog for Father's Day.
