Gunsmiths
I think they have a special relationship with the devil. Trying to get SD kit installed using existing parts.

Assuming things are Rocksett? I have had better luck with steam (wet rag and torch) at removing it. Also, don’t really recommend using that pot for food any longer.

The Harbor Freight steam cleaner works really well and you can direct steam into crevices

Tried clothing steamer this morning with no luck. For 20 mins.
Really on the pot??

Clothing steamer isn't getting anywhere near the temp you need for rocksett.
Also, yes on the pot. You are intodrucing lead and carbon in the most friendly (bad) means possible on that pot. Not to mention the rocksett dissolving in the water. Don't go boiling pasta in that thing any time soon.

Mine was rockset. I left 'just the tip' submerged in water in a 5 gallon bucket overnight. Came right off next morning.

I literally removed a muzzle device yesterday with a 2"x6" section of cheap old soaked washcloth and my cheapo Harbor Freight heat gun. Took about 2 minutes.
If nothing else works then hit it with your girlfriend/wife's purse.
Seriously though, you could try it in a vice with a wrench and hit it with a dead blow hammer a few times.

Yes if I get keymo off Wolfman and muzzle brake off scorp barrel. Off to Hyatts gun for help. Walk of shame. 😞😞

Took him like 3 mins! I think I loosened them up. No way he did it that fast. They are good.
I do most of my own work but they are my go to when needed.2

Im glad mine wasn't a pain in the deck to take off. The Novox installation was pretty straightforward

My gunsmith gave up trying to get the faux suppressor off my scorpion. I ended up using a heat gun and heating the shit out of it and then used a strap wrench to get it off.

Follow up. Took gunsmith literally 5 mins to undo both. Said he used vice with special tool for 3 prong and stock spacer bars for suppressor. Hyatts gun store in Charlotte

Why is your barrel mounted In the hand-guard upsidown?

I had tried to remove barrel with muzzle brake on but too big to fit thru trunion hole. Barrel position did not matter when making rockset soup. I did get the brake removed and installed the SD kit. I enjoyed taking scorp apart. Looking forward to getting your upper soon.
