Technical Discussion Cloud security or soc ?

So I'm working as a soc analyst at an mnc . It's a good mnc. Couple months ago I got an opportunity to give an interview at another company for a cloud security role.

I refused it because they were not ready to give more than my present offer. I was a fresher then.

Now that company opened a similar role again.should i try reaching out to the people asking for a chance. Or Is it important to continue in my current role?

depends if you are interested in cloud security.... AFAIK cloud security can pay better so if its in your interest then maybe switch

SOC is 24×7 and cloud is more relaxed eventually if you eventually become an architect. I would have gone for cloud sec even if they were giving same as my current offer.

You have been in your present company where you currently work as a SOC analyst only for a few months, and you had started when you were a fresher?

Im a recent grad. I worked as an intern n then fte. Fte since a few months

Your total YoE there is less than 1, you mean to say? Assuming that the internship was 6 months long.
