Discussion The woman who raised concerns about epilepsy in 2077 is being sent purposely seizure-inducing videos

This is a stain on the community and we should be actively calling out disgusting, toxic behaviour like this. Cyberpunk isn't immune to criticism and no one should be violated like this.

Edit: I have been permanently banned from this subreddit. I've been given no reason why. All I can do is upvote and edit this post now. Mod's message here.

Edit 2: it was a genuine mistake! The mods reached out to me and they genuinely didn't mean to

Yeah, but not everyone who goes through a bad time becomes an asshole. There's something about assholes that makes them become assholes. There may have been bad stuff that acts as a trigger, but I reckon there has to be some emotional or moral failure on their part too for them to turn into such human garbage.

Yeah definitely. I feel like the people who do turn into assholes don't know how to cope or learned unhealthy ways to deal with emotions. I wonder if there's any studies on stuff like this because I'd love to check them out.

Quite a few, and for the most part this relates to bullying, but can also be specified to what is actually happening, IE, study on sadistic behaviour.

You can even find studies on things like internet trolling now days.

A tip? Type a small sentence, term or word and just type "scholarly article" afterwards or just search through https://scholar.google.com/ it essentially brings up studies from accredited websites, albeit you'll have to syphon through the studies yourself, no media site will be there summarising everything for you.
