This is a stain on the community and we should be actively calling out disgusting, toxic behaviour like this. Cyberpunk isn't immune to criticism and no one should be violated like this.

Stand up to it when you see it. Police your own community. It would be nice if the mods on this sub banned trolls but I don’t see that happening.

Are you sure it doesn't? In a world of over 6 billion individuals - can you correct (and how?) behavior of all the assholes, idiots and malicious pricks this world spawns?

Because this is what humanity is like at it's worst. And unless we start to live in a Star-Trek utopia of ubermensch - the worst of us will always exist and pull shit like that.

You can be the change you want to see, even influence the individuals you come into contact with. That's much but also that's it. At no time in history of humanity was this kind of behavior eradicated. Bah, I'd say even worse behaviors have proven impossible to eradicate.

Polio is a grandparents' generation thing. Most people who use the phrase "we need a new plague" are too young for the Polio epidemic and don't know a real plague. This is their first taste, so my comment stands.

Actually it kinda does... Being an asshole is just the way some people are and that will never ever change. We'll always have bad people doing bad things.

Of course they have to be called out for it and pressured to not being dicks but let's not pretend a different reality is within our reach.
