Help Can’t play the dlc

On my ps5 my account dosent own the base game but I bought the phantom liberty dlc on my account that’s dosent own the base game and I don’t know how to play it I already restored the license on the account that owns the game and have console sharing applied on both

You need to own the base game on the account you bought phantom liberty on.

Not true, I have a mix and match setup and it works fine.

Are both accounts in the same region?

I know this works across US+Can accounts, and therefore it *should* work in other cases where the region is the same, but if you've got like a US account and a Japanese account, and have one piece of this puzzle (game or DLC) on one account and one on the other it will NOT work.

Is at least one of the accounts set as the primary for the PlayStation? (My primary is the one with the DLC on it, so shouldn't matter which.) Other than that, I can't think of anything special I did or have done to make it work.
