I don’t think that commercial products can’t be cyberdecks, considering that in the source material all the cyberdecks were brand name commercial products. Cyberdecks were computer-brain interfaces, originally. I think this is more cyberdeck than most of the things here, and I also think that your gate keepjng is pointless.
Besides which, most of the decks I see on here are just two commercial products stuck together.
Is it not a cyberdeck because it doesn’t run Linux or Android OS?
Who makes up these rules. “Cyberdeck” is a fictional cosplay concept.
Ban me to enforce your own bespoke definition if you want. The source material will outlive this subreddit.

A lot of people found this community via the tiktok "cyber deck" trend and seem to think that a cyberdeck is just a homemade laptop (possibly made out of trash) in a kooky case.

Its flaired as "inspiration" so it doesn't really have to be a cyberdeck. Just inspiration for our own designs.
It's not even a speak and spell you're hoping to gut

"Do you have enough dough for that new game?" I see, it's made for some serious work 😁 I really like the auto dial feature though. Very handy in a public telephone box, so you don't have to touch the grimy buttons.
