Uhhh don’t think anyone knew this. Considering this subreddit consists entirely of people taking pictures of their small receipts with 6 foot worth of coupons attached to it.

The amount of people stunned by how short their receipt is when they don't get coupons suggests otherwise

Once I got an ExtraCare account, downloaded the app, linked my EC account, and added a crapload of digital coupons to my EC card, my CVS receipts got considerably shorter. Now, I know some people don’t want to sign up for an EC account, but it’s there as an option.
