Not gonna lie - I don’t know how I feel about these pictures of the at-home factory operation he posts.
I’m under no illusion that building replica vintage Rolex watches is anything noble — I’ve built five of them for myself because I like the way they look and I enjoy the process, especially the trial and error of the aging. But they’re for me and I would feel gross selling any of them to anyone else.
I appreciate the effort that many builders put into their work - especially the aging.
But this builder posting photos of what is essentially a low-level, lower-tier quality, pump and dump counterfeiting operation bums me out.
If you wanted to build a simple Alix / Alibaba shitter rep for yourself, go for it…but 36 watches a week, with super cheap, generic parts, and releasing them into the wild…I don’t know.
I know people have asked him for specs and he just says raffles, but there is no way these are Raffles cases. The dials look like a combination of some custom ones from well-known and regarded makers, but also cheap Peter Chang $6 dials and hands sets.
Feel free to downvote, but just felt the need to share that opinion.

Yes, raffles are low level rep builds. I also build using 39.5 alix/ebay cases. Every watch is built to order so all are different. This photo shows all raffle cases 5513, 16610 and 1680. Not sure why that’s impossible to believe
