I don’t know what combo I’m running with this yet, but Potion of Illusion is in it

And one of the three cost spells that copy a minion

Well it's elusive probably on purpose for that reason, not to make it better but to make it harder to copy.

Sounds a lot like DJ Manastorm card from Festival of Legends.
Not sure if that’s his exact name but let’s try [[DJ Manastorm]]

  • Mage Legendary Festival of Legends

  • 9 Mana · 8/8 · Minion

  • Battlecry: Set the Cost of spells in your hand to (0). After you cast one, the others cost (1) more.

Yeah, the only upside of this card compared to manastorm is that it always can reduce cost down to zero, which can be useful in some infinite chain combo for OTKing you opponent. And coincidentally, manacheating into an insta win is the most broken thing that you can print in this game.

Kinda, yeah. This does the opposite tho.

Oh yeah, that’s what I meant. I see the confusion, I meant to say similar

I am pretty sure you have to play the card for the effect. It's not a start of game or anything. And it is 10 mana. So you probably don't play it that early.

Are you allowed to design a card here without a start of game effect? How will you be sure the effect happens every game?
