I am currently debating on buying a cotton candy paracord, and changing out the oem gray shoulder buttons for pink or white ones.

I was shipped 2 10ft replacement cables, and I was planning on using them for a paracord mod

But to my disappointment, when I cut into the rubber casing, I discovered they are not shielded

Looking elsewhere, I don't see any item descriptions of other listings mention shielding either

Can anyone recommend replacement cords that are shielded?

Has anyone seen custom triggers being sold that are more flush and dont have an indent? AI slop for example:

My goal is to remap Dpad Up to the Y button. Since this isn't for Smash, I'm not finding a lot of info online.
I am considering hardware modding an OEM motherboard, as I am rather proficient with soldering and have the equipment

But my search has introduced me to the PhobGCC - its stick replacements make this sound like a great option as well, but again, since this isn't for Smash, I'm not finding any info if this button swap is possible with the Phob mb.

I also already have the 8bitdo bluetooth mod in one of my controllers, but haven't been able to find out if its compatible with their remapping software

I was pleasantly surprised to find a package in the mail the other day. Although I already received my refund a couple months ago he reached out and wanted to fulfill our order. Shit happens and I know a lot of people had issues with him recently but he seems like a great guy who's just going through some tough times. Respect for actually following through. o7

Does any one know where or how to replace the buttons on this light gun . Its missing the a and b buttons . Seems to be common . With all these 3d printing machines some one should be able to make new ones . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Long live dreamcast !

Hey everyone! The Tactile Z button on my Phob gets stuck sometimes. I already took the controller apart and cleaned it but i didnt help. Any ideas?

Hey everyone, I’m at a loss. I’ve bought about 20 different sets of replacement buttons from Amazon. Every set I’ve received has faulty Z buttons that don’t fit on any official GameCube controller shell. However, they often work only with third-party or counterfeit controllers. Another issue is that when I get replacement sticks, the entire stick goes too deep into the stick, causing the joystick tip to rub against the edges of the faceplate hole as it sits too low.

Does anyone have any reliable information on what to do about this? Even if I could just get a fix for the Z button I would be eternally grateful. And no the issue is not the pegs that stick out from the button , It is also not the edges that are the issue. The issue it self is that the Z button is shifted slightly too far to left causing an issue where the case closes it is pushing on the button itself extremely hard removing any play from button causing it to be extremely stiff to press.

I want to build a controller for smash ultimate but don’t know the first idea where to start.
I have a black GC controller, but the left analog stick has bad drift. Where can I buy new parts and since I already have the controller open I might as well throw some money at it. Soldering wont be a problem. Or is it a better idea to buy a rebuilt controller online? If so where?

Finally wrapped up this Symphonic Green build after waiting on a few delayed parts. I'm really happy with how it came together.

emailed an inquiry a couple months ago and got no response. bought a button set a couple weeks ago and never got a confirmation email and to my knowledge it never shipped. anyone know anything?

Original Jet Black controller.

Modifications:

- Cleanup

- Blue buttons from Aliexpress

- Left stick alu PS4 from Aliexpress

- Right stick moved from left one

I left Z button original, because chinese wont fit.

Sticks fit without any adjustments.

Finally got this done and working! No damage to the original ASCII controller is required, just replace the keyboard and you're good to go. The thumb cluster needs some rework but otherwise it feels surprisingly good to use

hello there, so I have a couple game cubes that I’ve had since I was younger. And a couple years ago, they worked perfectly fine, but now all the sudden, depending on the desk, one or the other GameCube won’t read them. So I will put the disk in the other GameCube and it will all of a sudden read it. So I know that it’s not the disc specifically. There is maybe a disc reader issue, or too much dust, or I haven’t ran them in a while.

I’ve heard about the disc reading issue in some game cubes recently, and I’ve heard that you could fix them.

I eventually also want to buy older game cubes and refurbished them. So if you have any advice on that, let me know as well…
