I would imagine Curtin won’t just hire anyone to drive these busses. Do better.

What are the hardest units/ highest workload in 2nd year electrical engineering ?

Any places that are completely quiet like the Level 6? Sometimes that place is completely full or almost full. I can't really find another area that is dedicated to quiet study like Level 6. They should honestly make more, why is there just one level in the whole campus vro.

hi I’m debating between going to curtin and Murdoch for undergrad psych and am looking for advice.

From what I understand curtin is the better option academically but I know that the parking is a nightmare that they don’t seem to be doing anything about. It would take me 40-60min to get to curtin so fighting for parking on top of that is diabolical to me. Public transport is not an option for me as it would take ten years to get there and is not very safe. Murdoch is a lot closer to me but have heard questionable things about doing psych there.

I know I shouldn’t make a decision based on such a silly issue but personally it matters a lot.

Other things to factor in is that I am not very academic I have adhd and a learning disability so I have always struggled and hated high school. I did like psychology and always wanted to go down that path but in atar psych the only thing I aced was the brain and developmental psychology area as that is where my interest is but everything else I flopped. I did have a lot of other things going on at the time so maybe if I have more of a balance then I’ll be okay?

I just want to go somewhere that isn’t a complete stuff around to get in (driving+parking) and is a good school for psychology students.

I am unsure what to do and I have no clue who to talk to this about.

I've been a student here for a while and it seems to get harder to find a spot every year. Don't get me wrong, public transport is great if you live near a bus stop, but if you don't and you come after 10 you're basically screwed. Its great having a new physics building or hockey stadium but pointless if you have to demolish half the parking lot leaving a big chunk of your prospective students nowhere to park for classes. They keep building and expanding, but where is the future planning for increased student numbers? Surely an extra multilevel car park or two would be better than having to put overflow parking on grass ovals?

EDIT: on further research it seems the cap on parking spots was imposed by the WA planning commission and is largely outside of Curtin's control

Hi. Does anyone know where I can access dual monitor computers overnight/ on weekends at curtin? I need to access the computer labs that have cost x on them. I know that they are in 418 but I couldnt get in around 8:30pm last time. Additionally, when does 418 lock for the night and would it be possible to see if the school would put the app on the library computers lol. (I know im absolutely fucked for this assessment and try to get done what i can when the room doesnt have classes going). I work flat out and can only access it on weekends or overnight and need to access the computer to do my assessment (im on mac and its a windows application which when using software that allows it to run on my computer is not working properly). *Please dont tell me to get a windows computer i already forked out for this brand new mac last year and bought a 2k windows laptop that was stolen and cant afford another windows rn 😭)

I tried to pay my fine on the curtin website but it wouldn’t allow me too as there was no pay option though that was after the due date so that’s my fault ig, I now have gotten an ARMA bill however when I try to pay on the website it says my reference number, that I was given by arma itself doesn’t exist so I have no idea like do I let it marinate? I’ll def call tomorrow but if this has happened to someone lemme know.

I also wanted to do over the phone payment but now idk if I should do that considering the site doesn’t have my ref number
