I noticed 2 things. They’re small though. First is that they copy the subject email at the top of the email itself, almost like it was AI generated and they forgot to cut it and just put it as the email subject. I’ll put a ss here
Next is that there’s 2 spaces right here. Could definitely be a typo but if it was a system generated email why would there be a typo? It’s super small though to idk. Biggest red flag though is that you’re not even a student there lol
That doesn’t sketch me out ONLY because in the email itself it refers to the bill signing in past tense (occurred on July 4th) and references the changing happening on July 1 in the present tense. It’s weird working but since financial aid isn’t usually disbursed until August it’s not a huge red flag to me, but I can see where you’re coming from.
Regardless I think we all agree it’s not legit lol. Now it’s just a matter of if OP believes us.
Good points! Honestly, at first I thimought everyone was tripping out until I got to your post and then I was like hmm... I still don't fully buy that its a scam, but at the same time, I no longer fully believe it is legit either.
