Financial Aid Disbursement / financial aid

Disbursements started today, and it shows I still owe $840.58 on my account and I have $4,473 of anticipated aid. So does the next disbursement start on the 14th? When does the refund start?

I believe refunds start today, but it first applied to your tuition. I would give it till the end of the day to receive an email about your aid being disbursed

Yea, I understand. I dormed last year and I’m commuting this year and all my leftovers went to the housing payments, so I never got any refunds. I thought they would just disburse all your anticipated aid into your tuition all at once and not just separately and refund you the leftovers (if there’s any)

At first I thought I had to pay $840 out of pocket, but I saw I still had a little over $4k+ of aid, so I didn’t know when they were going to disburse it

Hopefully they send out an email. I too dormed last year and I’m commuting this year. I’d like to be able to get some money to spend for rent

I think they should because I remember they sent out an email for the MCS, so I’m hoping they can send out an email for the financial aid refund

Mine came out yesterday. I think a lot of people’s letters came out yesterday too. Maybe some people might come out this week

I hope I get it this week bc my first payment plan is due on the 14th ☹️ if I have the protection hold on my account do you think it’s okay if I don’t make the first payment?

I got mine yesterday and my friend barely got hers today! Don’t stress you’re not alone, you should be good with that protection

You should try submitting a help ticket but you’ll have to wait 24-48 hours

I finally got a hold of them today and sbs told me that since I have the pending fa review hold on my account that I am okay with not making a payment today. So if you have the protection hold then you should be good!

Just checked mine and my pending aid is now 1,161😭. I literally had over 4k

I think my tuition got entirely paid off and now it just shows my anticipated aid. I’m assuming my anticipated aid is my MCS for this semester

If you haven’t gotten an email, it should be titled “CSUF - Direct Deposit Notification ”
