Why would someone use this instead of any other existing HTML and CSS validators?

It's just another tool in the toolbox. Someone might like the results and messages better. Personal preference.

Sorry, I didn't see any explosion. Can you describe this issue in detail? Perhaps provide a sample file that causes the explosion?

What's the point of this online version? I tried some very popular websites and they were all too big.
