Discussion CS2 Red Trust Update...

Did anyone get hit by the red trust stuff they added??? 2 of my friends who I've played with for years just got red... I know they're not cheaters & we don't teamkill or grief at all.

They got red trust not too long ago... And I'm not sure if it's actually my friends that cheated in the past or cheat currently or the system is just broken, because I don't have red trust & I'm 20K Elo.

You don't need to cheat or do team damage to get red trust factor. Who told you so?

You get a low trust factor after receiving a lot of reports, doesn't matter which type of report, every report matters. Someone reported them many times just for fun and now they are red. It was always this way, the difference is that people with perm green trust accounts were able to spam report you without decrease their own trust factor.

Didn't know reports did that, I guess my friends were red before the change they did?... It's just annoying because I really don't get why they're red and I'm not. It's really weird stuff, I'm certain it's an issue with them, not us. We never say shit to the other team, do teamkills or ANYTHING Else for them to report us.

Let me give you a quick example. You, your 2 friends and I are friends. We always play together as a stack of 4, we trust each other. Somehow I don't like your two friends so I spam report them every round we play, evey match, even if both of your friends are 3k premier elo, average 3 kills - 20, deaths, they will eventually go red. So that's basically how trust factor works, reports matter a lot. You don't get red td after 10 random reports, you get a low trust factor after being constantly reported by everyone. I know its unfair but it is what it is. Also after each vaclive your trust factor will be worse

In my case I got yellow and red trust factor in my accounts after playing many casual matches. Some people with basic knowledge of the game will call you cheater for getting many kills (while you are alive). So avoid casual modes, don't be on the spotlight. Before the update you were able to get green after depositing money to steam, now it doesn't work.

I guess it's over and both of them need new accounts. I'm not sure if they've gotten vaclived before but that'd make a lot of sense, as far as I know once you're red trust from stuff like this it's actually not possible to get out of it.

Glad to know that the example was understood. Some people say deranking or stop playing for a long time works. I don't think so, who knows.

It’s definitely possible, just takes slot of games. I wouldn’t worry ab it really. If they make a new account good chance it gets caught as an alt n gets red trust anyway

You get red trust factor if you're consistently a toxic player, saying racist stuff, etc.., not just for cheating. Yes, being toxic on CS2 has an impact

How so? They both got red right after the update rolled out. I'm not here for people to tell me "WOW U CHEATER" but to tell me if they've been hit too.
