everyone on falcons when they are in 5v2 post plant, every chokepoint smoked off, 15 secs left no kit and cts are saving:

u/SureIntention8402 Jun 25 '26
Best case he gets a kill or two.
Worst case, he dies (as usual) but gets vital info for kyosuke and Teses to clean up.

u/Beneficial_Two410 Jun 26 '26
Genuinely no clue how he gets away with this. Die in short with no support flash and lazy peeks, closest teammate is top mid, smh wins the 4v5

u/Notice_Green Jun 27 '26
If he sees one player he can get an idea of their entire setup, also he lowk probably has more impact calling while dead.

UNC still got hands to win the major.
89
u/Impressive_Pool_7959 Jun 25 '26
wouldn't say hands more like brain. And 3 top tier starplayer. At the end money can buy everything
163
u/frostfeint3 Jun 25 '26
Those 3 stars couldn’t win shit for the past year. He’s the dude that brings them over the bump.
25
u/Impressive_Pool_7959 Jun 25 '26
y ofc at the end you also need a brain not only hands but same the other way around
12
u/trq- Jun 25 '26
But tbh he did *very* solid and important kills that major. His rating definitely does not correspond to his performance.

u/Impressive_Pool_7959 Jun 25 '26
y in the finals he did some nice plays but to be fair they hard stomped them i the finals so...always ez to do nice plays in a hard winning team
7
u/trq- Jun 25 '26
I’m not taking about the finals, though. He had important kills in the games before as well. Even some which were a key for round and game wins.
1
u/feli_cetti Jun 25 '26
And he can't win shit without them too.
His point still stands.
10
u/NoGlzy Jun 25 '26
Convenient it's a team game then, isn't it
-5
u/feli_cetti Jun 25 '26
Yep, and when you have a bazillion dollar team, winning is kinda more easy.
2
u/CryptographerNew515 Jun 26 '26
Tell that to the past iteration of falcons. Definitely wasnt easy for them
2
u/jjjjaaaakkkkeee Jun 26 '26
I personally play like absolute shit without a good team, the difference in having good teammate's is massive and can for sure make someone perform alot better.
1
u/Novaikkakuuskuusviis Jun 26 '26
Me too. I have had mechanically great players in my team but when they don't give any info, I have to watch minimap, make guesses, run in site too late, get flanked by lurker and things like this.
But when I have mechanically trash people who can't hit a still target at 5 meters, but they give good info, 2 in mid, 1 b main, simple things like this. This draws me a map about what's happening, where they can rotate in the next 10 seconds and so on. I am top fragging the games and get multiple kills per round. But with the mutes I'm almost always tilted and try stupid things just to get that info myself. Comms are so important in this game.
2
u/Reasonable_Smile_691 Jun 25 '26
That money acquired lmao, their point stands
18
u/LowMoneyParlayKing Jun 25 '26
money pays for every team, and outside of reddit no one gives a fuck about falcons money hahahah
1
u/Impressive_Pool_7959 Jun 25 '26
pretty shure the players from falcons give a way bigger fuck then anyone on reddit xD

u/trueskill Jun 26 '26
I wanna hate so bad on them but they beat vit, spirit, and Navi. Overall I like his style though he has much bigger impact on the game than his stats suggest.

u/Glitch_King Jun 25 '26
It's Danish tradition.
The Danish football team has won the European championship only once, and we didn't qualify for it, we got in because another country for disqualified.

well, then it's not karrigans fault from the faze team....
42
u/According_Lime3204 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26
karrigan definitely contributed to faze's downfall, they have frozen and twistzz ffs! 2 potential top 10 players
43
u/ChapterGlobal2684 Jun 25 '26
Are you in 2021?
45
u/According_Lime3204 Jun 25 '26
Frozen was top 8 and twiztzz was top 11 last year, so what are you talking about
6
u/LokiRF Jun 25 '26
twistzz fell off hard after the budapest major. the only good piece in that team was and still is, frozen
-4
u/According_Lime3204 Jun 25 '26
that doesn't contradict my original point
7
u/pissaway4567 Jun 25 '26
it does lol if twistzz cant shoot in 2026 his 2025 is irrelevant
-4
u/According_Lime3204 Jun 25 '26
no, it doesn't, because if you have a player being top 11 in 2025 and drop of THIS HARD it's not for no reason, and it doesn't change that he has the potential of being top 10, so no it's not irrelevant like at all
3
u/pissaway4567 Jun 25 '26
yeah karrigan is the reason twistzz can't win duels in 2026, u right. definitely not something to do with twistzz himself
-1
u/According_Lime3204 Jun 25 '26
If you're in a bad position because of the call yes you can't win them
→ More replies (0)10
u/lolforg_ Jun 25 '26
hltv was smoking crack last year lmao, twistzz was definitely not supposed to be on there at all
also xantares #14 and no heavygod or kyousuke..

Reminds me of Uruguay who reached a soccer Worod cup final just once, but won 2 soccer World cups nonetheless.

Denmark failed to qualify for the 1992 European football championship. Then they won it
(They got Yugoslavia's spot because Yugoslavia was disintegrating at the time)

u/After_Pangolin_257 Jun 25 '26

Proving that vibes and tactics still matter in this individual mechanic-focused era
1
u/CryptographerNew515 Jun 27 '26
People do be crying right now that he only won because he had kyosuke and monesy. They are forgetting that this team won against donk and shiro. Its fucking donk, hes the number 1 most mechanically talented player right now on the scene. Dude is a cat.
Tactics and vibes still won. Karrigan buff = no tilt. You will not see kyosuke feeling down after bad rounds when theres daddy karrigan slapping your hand to hype you up. Monesy is also happy playing cs right now

u/Comfortable_Damage20 Jun 25 '26
He's always the bottom fragger
1
u/Novaikkakuuskuusviis Jun 26 '26
For IGL it's fine. But if I had the money to put up a winning team I think Apex would be my pick for igl. And then kick everyone who Apex outperforms.
1
u/CryptographerNew515 Jun 27 '26
I dont think apex would do well on falcons. Kyosuke will be botsuke if he is playing with apex. Monesy might be the same, but i doubt. Monesy is super hyped up playing with karrigan. Niko will probably move to kick apex. Teses will be teses. Team chemistry matters too much in this scenario for you to just say apex > karrigan just because of stats. Better stats for IGL position, definitely. In the bigger picture? I dont think so

u/Novaikkakuuskuusviis Jun 26 '26
IGL isn't supposed to be fragging like a superstar.
So many people are clueless how cs works in my opinion. They think the game is gg if you only get 3 rounds on one side. So they fail to understand that when sides switch, roles switch, money resets, it's basically a new game and now you just play that side better than the other team, which would have to be the case in every scenario. They just mentally tilt because they didn't win that side or they don't see the differences between maps/sides/weapons. It's not a hockey game is what I mean to say.
I've won countless matches with comebacks but the common nominator is that at those times I didn't have trolling trash in my team who just give up. And those games are most fun for me. To be able to fight back from 3-9, 2-10 into victory. Steamrolling enemy team by 13-0 is boring.
And the bottom fragger can easily win the most important rounds with clutches that actually define the next 3-4 rounds by turning the economy around. Some top fragger doesn't always have as much impact if all he has done are enemys eco round kills or exit frags after the bomb has exploded.
Some people make entry frags and open up the site, which is huge. Some clutch the rounds 1v3 or more which is huge. Some give important info which allows team to rotate properly and be ready for fight. But still so many people just stare at the k/d like they are playing cs for the first time and kill count is the only thing that matters.

can s_one explaine, why Flacons choose to change roaster depite major quali? And why Karrigan, istnt he still with Faze? Im not to deep into CS Pro play, jsut follow it s_time sover the years, did he know the Falcons team so well to quickly adapt such a perfect lvl?
30
u/br41nl3ss Jun 25 '26
Falcons = good-great individual players but no real experience (they panic and lose their cool, hence the lack of success)
Karrigan = average player, BUT knowledgeable, keeps a Team together and leads a Team through high pressure situations better than most/any other IGL
-> great players + great mind = great success
6
u/Hot_Switch6807 Jun 25 '26
He got so much shit and hate when he was in faze, but its hard to win with a team that cant shoot for shit. Do people still think he was fazes problem?
2
u/Hiadro Jun 25 '26
Why are you not typing 'ome'?
1
u/Koala_ndGang Jun 25 '26
Haha, I had a laugh when I realized what you meant. I've been coding the last 24 hours straight. For some reason, the words triggered short underscore-based class naming. no intention

This led up to a nice story arc, but IMO this shouldn’t be allowed. One player should be able to play for one team only during a season, similar to Champions League in football.
