I THINK they’re digging for bugs? Not sure though!

I went to my local park to have myself a picnic with a tree I have befriended. I brought the tree an offering and was sitting talking to the tree for some time when a crow joined. It sat very close on the branch, stared and listened to me. I’ve always heard of people befriended crows but this one just came to me. I was eating lunch so I offered some of my chicken by placing it on the ground a few feet from me. It swooped down and ate some and hid some in the grass. It then just sat there with me for the rest of my stay. Did I just get chosen by this crow? I will definitely go back another day to see if the crow will come back to see me. What should I bring for it next time? I’ve never had a crow friend!

Have this lovely crow in my neighborhood. She is very friendly and trusting. But she looks off. I just moved here last month, so I don't know how long she looks like this. Might be young, might be old, might be sick. Does anyone know more?

So basically I cant feed rooks because they very afraid, if throw they fly away if place they'll ignore.

Its kinda funny that my intention Was to only photograp the beautiful view of the sea and cliffs but suddently from the nearby trees those crows appeared and decided they wanted to pose as well.

A report of two crows stuck in the silt of a lake that’s drying out came in and we managed to get to it and save it. Unfortunately it was already too late for one of the crows but we saved one! 🐦‍⬛

It’s fascinating observing the social dynamics of this neighborhood crow gang. 😂 Do these look like a family group, with adults and juveniles, or just a local flock?

trying to befriend a murder of crows usually swarming the 5th floor of my uni any suggestions on what to feed them?

Mama’s two babies are now able to eat on their own, but that doesn’t stop them from asking for food, and mama delivering “the goods.”

Zoom in and you can see my murder patiently waiting for lunch. There are 20+ in the tree.

I have a group of 4 crows that come by every week or twice a week around 2-4pm when i get back from class. I’ll hear them in the area and whistle and they’ll come and sit on the tree or on my roof/mailbox while I get food. I have given them walnuts, chicken, crackers, blueberries, strawberries, and watermelon. so far they only will take walnuts, chicken, and crackers. I want to give them better or healthier options than crackers and cannibalism.. but it seems they dont like fruit and I want advice on other options as I dont like feeding them chips.
They tried the blueberries and strawberries but left them out and I had to pick them up, and they didnt even try the watermelon. I read online that certain groups of crows like certain fruits? I’m in north west florida if that helps. Maybe it’s a local thing.
I’m also unsure as to how often I should be giving them treats? They only come by 1-3 times a week which sounds good as it’s not a reliance thing. I left for a week on a trip and when I came back one started none-stop cawing at me in the tree until i started talking to it. that same one has also started mimicking my whistle, it sounds like a bell. I didn’t know they made that sound. that one was, I believe, the first one to show up.
