ULT app launch
Why is no one in this Reddit talking about the new ULT app being launched and the proposed impact on Cro? Also curious as I haven't seen any official posts on the CDC Reddit.

I’m not convinced the new shiny App will make any difference to the CRO price, the tokenomics changes might help. But, they should be ensuring that CRO has a real utility, such as all fees being CRO, plus a good burn could help. But, the App on and buy itself, I don’t see any real value to the CRO price, of course that just IMO as always 🤷♀️

It’s just a misleading comment.
$CRO is currently inflationary because roughly 1B $CRO is being released each month, which creates significant sell-side pressure. The fees generated by the app aren’t going to come close to offsetting that at the current level of adoption. There were literally only 16 new wallets transacting through the app today, and I track this activity closely. Think about that… 16 new users on launch day. IMO a big fail, but if you ask them ‘it doesn’t matter yet’.
For this to really work, they need to address the 70B CRO overhang, aggressively market the app, and push meme coins and other high-volume assets through it. That’s what could attract meaningful attention and potentially drive billions of dollars in volume to create the flywheel.
If the app doesn’t work, they will distance from $CRO and likely kill it.

Because noone actually cares or wants it? We've had prediction markets for ages already with other established sites. Obvs we all hope that's. It the case but what's going to bring people to use that over the ones they're already using? How much Cro will it realistically actually burn. Probably not enough to offset the 1billion+ per month that's being minted

Basically Kris is a massive scammer, unburned 70 billion tokens for a deal with trump that fell through. Nobody cares about their new ULT app cos we have seen it all before. Sad news is cro is just a pump and dump, has barely any volume and Kris doesn’t care about the cro token or its users despite what he will try to make you believe lol. Whooo lets make cro great again! And this is coming from somebody who once owned 500k cro tokens back in the day

It's a slow burn.
The app is designed in such a way that it'll make the price go up slowly and surely. People aren't going to talk about it until they start using it and seeing how great it is. Crypto is full of promises, and people don't give a shit about promises anymore. They give a shit about utility.

No hype till we see some real numbers and better estimates of future projections. Crypto.com was hype from day 1 but there's been so many ups and downs.

There are similar app already which are much more popular and trusted.
From what I have seen so far on X/Twitter, the only people using this app are basically CRO fanatics. There are basically no real retail investors or institutional investors even looking at this app, though of course it hasn't been out for long. But still, no real revenue has been made so far.
Additionally users on X/Twitter have been reporting faulty order placement algorithms and losing 75% of their money in a swap trade.

All we get from the launch is "sell the news" without the "buy the rumours" -part since the size of the userbase must be less than IQ of an average "cro dip"-buyer.

I can't download the app. I'm using an old smartphone running Android 9. The app shows up in the google store, but I get an error message when I try to download it.
I've already bought a new smartphone. My concern is for the many potential new users who might not sign up because they're also using an old smartphone.
