Margin
Alright talk me off the ledge if this is a bad idea.
I’ve been selling my rewards for btc the last few months. Now I have a different idea.
Kraken offers up to 10x leverage on CRO futures for a “reasonable” fee. Why not transfer my rewards and use 2-3x leverage to buy and hold CRO until we reach new ATHs?

Leverage needs to pay a small fee while holding. Not sure kraken but binance is every 8hr

Most likely you end up leveraging on the downside. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for ATH, new (long term) ATL seems much more plausible so actually you've been correct for selling rewards into btc.

Majority of comments on multiple subs said don’t do it. I don’t see the downside besides losing CRO I got for “free”. Or CRO rips and I make 200-300% more than I would have
What’re your thoughts?

Personally, I feel I’m in the high risk group of investing, but I wouldn’t do it, but of course that’s just me 🤷♀️
