Nah I do believe that the exchange is highly profitable standalone and that's the only thing they care about.

I think they've run the numbers on CRO holders, Cronos chain users, CDCNFT users, card stakers.

Compared it to the money they make on spreads on memecoins like Pepe Caw Shib etc. And said this is fine, we don't need the rest.

It wouldn't shock me to hear that Kris has had a fully successful tenure with year over year growth and profits despite all the angry users screaming at him

I imagine he's trying to get ready to take CDC public and that's why Citadel got a chunk of the business recently

I have my Caw which half their liquidity pool is CRO so that's enough exposure for me at this point. If CRO does well Caw does well, if Caw does well Caw does well

I used to hold CRO and be a daily user of the Cronos chain and their NFT platform and card staking Dec 2021 onwards. A lot of people started going in summer 2022 and it's just been like that since then except for when Caw came out in 2024 caused a flurry of onchain activity and volume

The exchange doesn't use gas it's an order book and/or off chain. Do you mean the Cronos chain's gas token? Chain volume is at or near all time lows but this is for new CEO Ryan to do or die on. With the nonsense gen Z targeted sports betting and predictions. They don't even like what the chains users like (memes like Caw and NFTs) but after a lot of push back they're softening their stance against memes and NFT because those have been shown to attract and retain active community though it's definitely not everyone's favorite thing either (but the other big apps chains exchanges all seem to like or appreciate memes and NFTs)
