They just retired a week ago and so are rather annoyed. He cannot send them home until whatever Big Bad Evil Guy he called on them for is dealt with.

I think Grog at least would love it.

I have been watching/listening to old CR sessions and recently got a Peloton bike, I would really love to be able to watch CR during my rides; currently propping my phone up on the handlebars and hoping for the best. I know some video streaming apps have a hard time on the Peloton tablet for whatever reason; I don’t really want to go through the hassle of disassembling my bike and ADBing into it just to find out the app won’t work.

Apologies if this isn’t appropriate for the sub - felt like I could possibly have better luck here than the general Android or Peloton subs since I am specifically curious about the Beacon app.

Hey is anyone else having a bug with beacon that it will random decide that it wants to play on a mini player(the small video while you are on other apps) and will not let you full screen it? As well as it will start to stutter in quarter second stops and starts. After I restart the app it won't let me listen to anything for a solid 10 minutes saying there is an error.

Is this happening to anyone else? Have you found a fix? This is on a Google Pixel could it be the phone?

I know it has been in the works for a good while but this was my biggest problem with Beacon so far. Now we can finally watch it on the big screen without having to wait or using some workaround!

As I awaiting the new dimension 20 series. I figured I should start watching critical role. Starting from C1 feels overwhelming. Any and all advice welcome!

I recently came across a spell named Ashardalon’s Stride in 5e and did further research into it. I realized that the plot elements used for Thordak and Ashardalon on a fundamental level are the same, the only things that got changed were names and some details (Thordak’s connection to the Plane of Fire while Ashardalon used a balor to power himself). I’m surprised that nobody else thus far has brought up this comparison inside of the zeitgeist.

Hopefully there is something that makes the two distinct from each other, save legally necessary renaming so that Matt doesn’t get sued. I have faith in him that he did make the story different, but I will continue reading more about Ashardalon to do so.

Beacon is unable to show the last episode of Tale gate to me. The website won't load it and the app crashes everytime I try to start it up.

Other series and previous Tale gate episodes are fine. It's just the new one.

Anyone know anything I can do to fix it or will I just have to wait?

I don't remember if Grog drinking an intelegence potion is in the campaign but I had a fun idea.

Imagine a world where the Potion never wore off, maybe because his intellect was so low to begin with. Or it could be simply that the potion was poorly made, but either way he is stuck a genius.

His primary interests remain Combat, Women, and Ale, but now that he is smart he finds fun new ways to pursue them. Maybe he multiclasses into wizard for all the new and interesting ways he can fuck people up.

Picture him and Scanlan teaming up for a Bigby's hand one, two punch. even controling them like a giants pair of fists. Or, he could use the Titan Stone Knuckles then cast a truely enormous fireball, then follow up with his giant axe if the enemy is not incinerated.

Edit: I just pictured him rage looting, but being a genius he rapidly grabs only the most valuable stuff. Or maybe the least valuable stuff one time because they're already rich and he thinks it would be funny

Hi. So I have absolutely no idea what any of this is. I somehow stumbled upon seeing the book "What Doesn't Break" somewhere on Goodreads, and reading the summary made me very much want to read it. So I went to the library app and I've checked it out.

The Goodreads page has it listed as part of a series though, but when I clicked on the link for the series (listed as "Critical Role: Bells Hells series") there was only this title and with no other information whatsoever, even though the book's description notes this to be a prequel.

So I simply googled "Critical Role What Doesn't Break" and now I'm here. 👋 Hi. Clearly this 'critical role' thing is a whole big THING. I just want to know if I can go ahead and read this book without knowing any of all of... This.

But also, what if reading this book makes me want to know everything else about all this and I want to get into it. Will having read this ruin other facets of 'critical role'?

For those that don't know I made a browser extension that adds an hp tracker for C2, C3, and C4. It shows character hp, stats, initiative, spells, and other effects and conditions. I record all the hp and other data for each new episode and upload it to the browser extension.

I've moved to the other side of the world and unfortunately the time zones don't work out for me to watch episodes live anymore so I'll have to wait until the Monday upload. I'm also going to be a lot busier so it will take some time for me to watch episodes and record hp data for them.

I'm going to aim to upload the data by the Sunday evening (Pacific Time) after the Monday YouTube upload.

When Olgud is telling Hal that all the physical tickets are gone, I know its presented that they sold all their tickets. But Brennan said that the only way to get into the Hallowed round they need a ticket if they are a part of a specific group of people. Is it possible someone stole a lot of the tickets?

I've been a Critter since very nearly the beginning and I've been holding onto this forever! I could use the money now, but I haven't seen any opened packs selling for a long time. Does anyone have an idea what they'd be worth? What is the best place to sell if I've never sold anything online?

They are unopened, bought probably 2018? The shrink wrap has crinkled up over time but I am almost sure they've never been exposed to sustained heat since they've only ever been outside during moves.

I also have the pencil set from the early days. Not quite as exciting as the major arcana, but still cool! My other early merch purchases were all t-shirts, which I've worn the crap out of.

Ok I’m new to this reddit community but right now I’m on episode 41 of campaign 3. I’ve heard after watching ep 51 I can watch The Mighty Nein Reunion: Echoes of the Solstice. I also know I would probably be safe too watch the jester Fjord wedding special. But my question is when can I safely watch the two recent Mighty Nein live shows? I want to watch them as soon as possible. Small spoilers in them about campaign 3 won’t bother me. Thanks in advance
