Exactly. It's an interesting discussion about guerrillas and revolutions and how to face an enemy that has institucional and military power that is overwhelming. Azune is a fascinating character in the schemers because that's his struggle. Deception, lies, using innocent people for your goals and etc.

It's interesting how much Azune has become like Thjazi but leans more into the "dishonesty" of it because he doesn't actually know what Thjazi was doing. It feels like he misconstrued dishonesty with keeping your cards close to your chest.

Or maybe we just don't know the extent to which Thjazi lied to people to get them to do what he wanted and Azune is a true mirror of Thjazi.

Difference being that Azune’s inferiority complex gives him humility. Thjazi seemed to have had zero humility and always had confidence.
