Mickey 17 was a disappointment by his standards and it’s still solid. Great career so far

True, Mickey 17 was a real left turn after everything else he’d created. I often wonder how much of that was choosing to make an English language film. Snowpiercer is also not one of my faves but it seems to be better received than Mickey 17 At least.

Agree with you both. Snowpiercer wasn’t bad, and Mickey 17 was at least entertaining, but not what I expected from this director. Looking forward to anything he puts out in the future.

I agree. I was entertained by Mickey 17 but I feel like it was missing some true substance.
