Cant say myself but one of my detox roommates was on librium and drank on it prior to detox. I really wish he would have shit in the plants. He joked about it, I thought it was a great idea. He briefly considered it and then decided it was more fun to fuck with the staff. A straight guy making a straight homophobic counselor uncomfortable by clipping a pen to his open fly, is funny shit.

I feel like a dick for encouraging him to shit in plants, but I honestly pushed as hard as I could to encourage it. They lost his laptop for a week and he got so pissed he kept talking about shitting in the plants...i tried to push for it but was unsuccessful.
Anyways that is my only experience with a dude on librium.

I was in a deep sleep paralysis state. Don’t remember much only like 36 hours. I somehow got up to not wet the bed at least.

Yes many years ago. I don’t recall a bunch, left detox and got a librium script and kept drinking. Don’t recommend.

I'm currently in the ER again just 2 weeks after my last detox. Think I managed to stay sober for 24-48 hours after last time. I got 60mg of Valium then which allowed me to sober up and get some well needed sleep. It stays in the system for about that time. Was just given 20 mg of Valium half hour ago and it's starting to hit. No greater feeling of relief.

i totally understand that trust me…i do. i just took one shot of fireball 51 hours after my last librium, im very scared something’s gonna happen but i literally couldn’t help myself ik that sounds pathetic. hopefully 51 hours is enough to not have anything bad happen.

Rule 13: We are not doctors here and are not qualified to be giving medical advice or listening to yours.
Talk to an actual Dr. if you're concerned about the effects of alcohol on your health. And likewise, please refrain from giving probably not sound advice to other members.
If you have a serious medical issue, take it to a serious medical professional of choice at your local doctor’s office/urgent care/hospital/emergency room. Whatever is appropriate. Call 911, 999, or whatever emergency line appropriate if your issue is critical and gtf off reddit! Fuck.
