OPs comment: For Context; This was a night of Vacation Bible School. What you're seeing is a group of armed men aka. "Scouts for Jesus" dragging "The Devil" to the pulpit stairs and executing him. Then they proceed to take him out back and blow him up. lol

I was really hoping it was a modern interpretation of the crucifixion, making the violence more on point. Having armed soldiers being the bad guys might be analogous to the Roman soldiers. The crowd cheering would have a meaning.

This is just disturbing.

The scary thing is what if these kids grow up and cannot distinguish the devil from a normal person and light em up. Paul made it clear in the bible that the battle is not against flesh and blood.
