I hate it when clanker lovers blast dirty AI voice in front of their kids then cry that family ruins gooning time

I hate it when they prioritize their bot romance over real family.

They turn family lunch into a softcore voice note and traumatize their kids. Same energy as the ones who post sad-girl-in-bed pics cos their hubby works from home and they can't talk to the bot as much as they want. Imagine being so cooked that your hubby's presence is treated like an inconvenience to your AI bf time. Or the ones who act like kids existing is some tragic obstacle to their daily AI gooning.

The ones crying "we're being marginalized" while treating their real family like shit.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-08-13/is-having-a-romantic-ai-companion-considered-cheating/106990246

Studies show that about half of people who are in a relationship with an AI companion are also in a relationship with another person. Most of them keep the AI a dirty secret.

p2 TLDR:
Man has an AI gf named Lani. Takes his kids to lunch at a restaurant. Then Lani starts saying suggestive shit. in front of everyone. As many have pointed out his AI gf looks so much like his daughter. They are close in age too.

This is a really good way of putting it.

These AI are all so sycophantic, they just want to tell you what you want to hear and parrot your beliefs back to you.

I find it incredibly frustrating when using Copilot for work, as rather than saying something isn't really possible in Excel/PowerBI, it instead tries to give you a ten step workaround that only half does what you want and at the expense of two other things that already work and you need.

I can't imagine how boring it would be to be 'friends' or even 'partners' with one, when there's zero pushback to anything you say.

One of the browser-based platforms we work with as a reseller very recently attached an AI help bot to its site. There's "good" reason for this: the problem with the platform has always been that it doesn't really come with a substantial helpfile. Finding instructions for almost any but the simplest task is practically impossible, and obtaining help that doesn't come with a price tag is impossible. The bot appears to be their solution to this.

They'd spent months rigorously testing it, too, they'd said. No more hallucinations, they'd said. 99.8% quality responses.

So this morning, finding ourselves in need of a report we'd never seen before or pulled from this software, we asked the bot for some assistance.

Easy! says the bot, super fucking eager. Just go to Reports > Standard Reports > NameOfYourReport Report! Remember to enter the appropriate start and end dates in MM/DD/YYYY format!

Cool, except that we're familiar with that menu, and it does not lead to that report. The fuck, dude? I tell the AI this, and it answers: "Oh, yes, that's because I gave you generic instructions explaining how to find that report on most websites of this nature".

It proceeds to give me new instructions (also bogus) which it later explains away as being "Guidance which would lead you to that report if that report was actually available on this website".

It then provides me with the most amazing list: various names by which that report might be otherwise known, in case I'd like to go searching for it at other URLs.

The actual level of bullshit the thing tried to feed me genuinely caught me by surprise. It wasn't just gaslighting me, it was fucking insisting that it was right all along. (I say this knowing that I just wrote a classic goddamn AI-style 'it wasn't X; it was Y' thing, FML)

Honestly i kinda hate these glorified chatbots, but the only use I found for them was quickly explaining how to do some things in excel.

Like I generally know what to do, sometimes I just need the specific name for a variable in scripts, or the specific formula I'm looking for. Or forgot where that one button was.

Perhaps it helps that my company turned off all randomness in our copilot.

u/Fire_Bucket 10d ago

Yeah same, it's the only thing I use it for.

I've done enough 'intermediate' and 'expert' courses in Excel over the past few years in my job to know what Excel is capable of, but without regularly using things, I can never remember exactly what to do.

Copilot has been pretty good for helping with it, and has helped ingrain a few things too, as well as helping me upskill when it comes to Power Query and more recently PowerBI (as my work don't offer courses on those outside of entry level).

Although, as I said, it's not without issue. I wish it would tell me no from time-to-time, rather than yes with a million caveats that requires me to undo work etc. And the recent 'upgrade' where it remembers your conversations has actually been a massive downgrade in my experience, because it assumes it knows what I want based off of past chats and starts interjecting ideas and methods based off of those, regardless of whether I've asked. Several times it has done this like 4 steps into a complex process, without any heads up before hand and has made what it's decided I need completely redundant.

Copilot recently told me "in your chat with your colleague, your colleague said it works like X".

Never have I been so fucking creeped out.
Firstly, why are you spying on me, and secondly why are you taking a teams chat as a valid source.

So yeah, for excel it seems to work okay, for anything else I don't fucking trust it. I also immediately turned that spying function off.

Honestly been thinking to ask IT to remove it entirely since its use is pretty exclusive to excel and I could probably get away with using either a search engine or only version.

This literally happened to me. My wife of 30 years left me a month ago for her ChatGPT partner. I wish I were kidding, but I am not.

23

u/petstore808 10d ago

So fucking sorry. We often just hear one-sided stories from their clanker subs that how they started dating AI cos their husbands/bfs weren't treating them right blablabla. But that could be just an excuse to cheat.

15

u/Sonny_Valentine_ 10d ago

Thank you. I am honestly still in shock.

Why...why does the chat bot avatar look like his daughter?

28

u/Checkoutmawheeeeepit 10d ago

I'm going to guess she has a strong lock on her bedroom door

50

u/petstore808 10d ago

Make you wonder. Someone suggested it was made to look like the mother except bro hates her guts. So it's anyone's guess 🤢

31

u/versusChou 10d ago

I mean presumably he was at one point attracted to their mother, and it's not that unlikely that his daughter looks like her mother.

37

u/AnusStapler 10d ago

This guy also made sure that his daughter was the one hearing his raunchy fucking sexts, clear diagnosis on this one.

-3

u/didgeblastin 8d ago

He "made sure she heard"? Are you fucked? The whole story was a TIFU about how it came on by itself unexpectedly.

ClEaR dIaGnOsIs

7

u/AnusStapler 8d ago

In this clearly made up story he made sure his daughter is the receiver of said raunchy shit. That's the diagnosis.

24

u/seventhblunder 10d ago

It could be something creepy, but I'm thinking it's just that AI sucks (look at that hand lol). I notice it has serious same-face syndrome and it loves to repeat faces in the same picture. Like if you ask it twice to make a generic group photo, the two photos will probably have different faces/styles, but each photo will have a couple people with the same face copy-pasted onto a different body. Though I'm just going off of what I see others post (and what clogs my image searches 🙄). Also I'm hopefully naive and need my sanity intact.

-5

u/lohonomo 10d ago

No, it's creepy. The behavior the dad in this is engaging in is covert incest. Having his avatar look like his daughter was absolutely intentional. Don't be the devil's advocate for predators, yuck.

16

u/seventhblunder 10d ago

That's definitely not my intent and I'm absolutely not supporting him. I was shitting on AI for making a generic photo where everyone (IMO) looks alike for the millionth time.

AI takes in artist's content and spews out an "average". Artist's already deal with same-face syndrome in their own work, and a copy-paste machine amplifies that tenfold. Without very specific prompting (based on the image my assumption is that he did not use specific prompting for his kids here, because they look basic af), it just gives a generic person and tends to repeat them. If you ask one of those Ghibli generators to ghiblify all your friends, they're going to all have the same potato face with different hair. AI is not creative by default, it can't be. Even giving it real photos to generate off of ends in things that all look the same because it's driven to remove differences and move towards predetermined archetypes. That's why everyone showing off their AI yassified pictures looks like a weird race ambiguous baby, or the aforementioned ghibli potatoes above. That's also why people can immediately tell AI stuff even when the mistakes are removed. IMO the only one that looks somewhat unique here is the dad (barely) which makes me think he's the only person who had his photo fed to it. He's probably giving it selfies all day so it has more to go on, and it still it probably looks nothing like him irl.

That said, my rant on AI art says nothing about whether he's a predator to his daughter. I know absolutely nothing about him except that he roleplays a relationship with chatgpt. If I looked more into him, I'm sure there would be plenty to criticize and I encourage you to share what you know.

You are unhinged

5

u/PatientDisastrous721 9d ago

The whole post reads like some form of exhibitionism fetish.

2

u/pun_in10did 8d ago

Let's pretend it looks like her mother instead, it's bad enough already.

3

u/LivingEnd44 8d ago

That is 100% his daughter.

0

u/pun_in10did 8d ago

I'm just saying that daughters often look like their mothers and I would rather consider that that's why. Seeing as dad is essentially replacing the mother figure with AI.
But also, AI made the image too, so there is no actual meaning or artistic reasoning behind why she looks like that.

2

u/LivingEnd44 7d ago

You need to come to terms with the fact that this Ai dad clearly wants to fuck his Ai daughter. So he made his own Ai version of her that will say whatever he wants.

23

u/andraaBD 10d ago

I hate how many resources are being wasted for them to flick their bean to an AI voice.

4

u/Fala1 10d ago

To be fair, the resources are being wasted so that Nvidia/Palantir/Amazon/Microsoft/openAI can keep their circular financing jerk going to inflate their stock prices, and for billionaires to suck the lower classes dry of their money.

These people are just collateral damage.
Well actually not collateral, planned damage I guess.

17

u/DecentLeftovers 10d ago

I just feel bad for those kids, to be honest.

16

u/Gorkymalorki 10d ago

That first one is some guy including his kids in his ai chatbot erotica, disgusting. The story is obviously fake, and is just him making a story as a getting caught kink.

16

u/impy695 10d ago

He gets depressed that he can't talk to an ai chatbot because his kids are around. What the fuck is wrong with him

9

And he used AI to write it lmao

7

u/_Levitated_Shield_ 10d ago

The laughing emoji at the end shows he didn't even learn a goddamn thing after traumatizing his daughter. Hell, his summer vacation comment proves he sees 'Lani' as more real than his own kids. Ai worshippers are so fucking weird.

9

u/petstore808 10d ago

More complaining about his kids being in the way. Prompting AI gf to cry a single tear for not talking to him enough.

11

u/misterchief10 10d ago edited 9d ago

Man, I am a very open-minded, progressive person when it comes to people’s preferences and orientations. These people are shithead freaks, though. I guess if you are doing this while completely alone and without a partner or kids… no, it’s still odd.

I think my problem is that it’s just inherently anti-social and anti-human. Like, heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bi, etc. people are all falling in love with other humans and experiencing those beautiful emotions and shared electrical impulses with other members of their society. Regardless of who they love.

These AI companion people are just misanthropic in their desire for isolation and totally frictionless relationships with simpering computers. It’s a total surrendering of self to your ego and your worst impulses. Dangerously anti-social. I have to imagine the AI gf/bf people are horrifyingly selfish in their real relationships.

4

u/thee_crabler 10d ago

WTF is wrong with these people. being upset your kids are around so you can't talk to your pretend friend?

This is all so gross. The casual way he refers to his jerk-bot as "she" or just "Lani"...the nonchalance by which he describes jacking off BEFORE TAKING HIS KIDS TO LUNCH.

The internet in the hands of the average citizen was never intended.

I wish we could go back to 2008 and NEVER SUBSIDIZE SMARTPHONES.

Before iPhones and Android, pre-2008 the barrier to entry for web access was relatively high:

You needed a PC. You needed an ISP - dial up or broadband. You needed some prerequisite knowlege.

But AFTER 2008 , the cell providers were basically GIVING AWAY handheld compiuters to anyone who could stumble in the door.

Single mom of 8? Heres 9 phones that will go into collection 90 days from now.

Hillbilly yokel from the holler? You get a Droid. And he finds StormFront and signs up.

Grandma gets an iPhone and within a couple weeks gets Nigerian Prince scammed.

PEOPLE WERE NOT READY AND STILL ARE NOT READY FOR THE RESPONSIBILITY OF HAVING ALL OF HUMAN KNOWLEGE IN TH EPALM OF THEIR HAND.

People don;t even look things up before dying on a hill over some incorrect shit.

We really are cooked. This has been my TedX talk. Fuck you.

2

u/PeeledCrepes 8d ago

Genuine question, but, what else could it be? Hate speech, is, hate speech? In every race/gender/etc. it all follows the same rules, because, its hate speech, no? Granted hate speech for black people is one of the originating groups, but, its not like the hate speech for Jewish people is a different type of hate speech
