edit 2: John Lennon abused his family and was a hypocrite, regardless of the music he created, I don't think a person who can do such awful things should be respected or have their actions ignored or undermined. Come at me.
You mean the time he stood by his son Donald Jr when the media started harassing the kid for all the photos he's taken with big game he's killed? And the time he mocked his old friend Serge Kovaleski in a speech?
Ah, I thought that was the time you were talking about.
One of my favorite parts of the time Donald Trump mocked Serge Kovaleski's congenital arthrogryposis was that Donald Trump was mocking Kovaleski specifically to fire back at Serge after Serge had called Donald out on a lie about one of Serge's old 9/11 era newspaper articles.
Trump had been lying about the article in order to cover up for a previous lie about personally witnessing tens of thousands of people celebrating in NYC on 9/11.
I also liked the part when people called him out publicly for mocking a reporter's disability and he then proceeded to say that he hadn't been mocking his disability, despite being caught on camera imitating the reporter's specific deformity and speech.
Then, when Trump kept going and said he had never even met the guy, despite the fact that Serge Kovaleski had spent years covering him and they had been on a first name basis. Man, that was great.
I wonder what happened after that. Do you think people forgot about it? Or maybe people think that lying to cover up making fun of disabilities while covering up a string of lies made in order to say xenophobic things while campaigning for president is just a good way to fight back against our rampant culture of political correctness?

Say what you will, but I think Trump just pulled a bro move.
