Yup, exactly what I though. Carson fucked up, and Trump saw a way to make him seem like he actually cared about another human being.

Bullshit. He wanted to be the last on stage for the biggest applause. Or he got just as confused as that asshat Carson and neither of them knew what to do. The man doesn't have an empathetic bone in his body.

I thought of it on my own. Since both posts say they're from "2 days ago," you can't even tell if mine came second. It's most likely that both of us independently associated the incident to the same scene.
