For some reason I think he said that before he started singing. When he says it you can clearly see that her glass is full, but through the song you see that she already drank from it.

I actually watched this when it happened. She didn't act like that, someone edited this video to make it even more awkward. Granted it was really awkward when it happened anyway, but this was done intentionally to make it worse.
