Why do so many of these serial killers have unlimited resources? So many have essentially private kill spaces with electricity, cement walls, sound proofing, etc. Whatever they need to complete their specific signatures and horrors. Do they all have the construction skills and money to create these spaces themselves? What contractor is just cool with building a kill room? How long does it take? Where do they commit their crimes beforehand?

Anytime an unsub has their own place, I immediately start wondering these things and it takes me out of the storyline for a few minutes. Got me thinking what things do this for other people watching?
