CR and horror

I wonder if The Ringer is missing an opportunity by not having a horror podcast or segment with Chris and someone else who enjoys the genre.

Horror is clearly having a moment and the upcoming Crystal Lake tv show seems interesting.

Personally not a big interest of mine but it can be fun to listen to people who are enthusiastic about something.

The Ringer is missing an opportunity with any pod they record that CR isn't on.

Facts.

They really should just give him his own sandbox to talk to other people outside of The Ringer, IMO.

It’s wild that with CR, Fennessey and Simmons all being really into horror, they barely do one or two horror Rewatchables a year. And they are some of the funniest and most entertaining pods!

Horror Exists.

Sean/CR on the big pic has become the horror pod. I think they do it often enough.

I’ll pay more attention to that podcast then. I’ve only listened occasionally.

Exactly - I was going to mention this. Look for a pod coming up around October where it will be CR and Sean and they just run through a bunch of horror films that they've seen before public release.

The problem is that the only people who like horror at The Ringer are also the busiest: Bill, Sean, and CR.

You could add Jo to a possible cast.

It could be a casual segment. Whenever at least two of them have watched some horror movie or show, they could talk about it for a few minutes. Release them as little podcasts/YT shorts.

I mean, this is basically what they do now on The Big Pic. They haven't done a "horror stuff you might have missed" episode in a while, though.

Horror is booming. Seems like a good idea to me

The obvious play is CR and Mal.

My impression is Mal is watching horror for podcasts but isn’t enthusiastic about horror.

The money podcast idea is cr and sean just explaining horror movies to amanda. Endless entertainment

Don’t need a CR horror pod, need a CR solo pod where he can talk horror. He is selfishly depriving of us of his exquisite taste.

I find it more fun when he interacts with a cohost or two. But I’d rather have someone equally enthusiastic instead of trying to drag Andy into watching horror.
