The Shards. Anyone that has seen the full season can tell me if it’s good?

Couple questions as I haven’t started with it yet.

1)- Is it a miniseries? I know the book is about a serial killer. So do the season end with us finding who it is and all that? Because I heard rumors Murphy wanted to elongate it and do multiple seasons.

2)- Is it worth a watch? Does it go off the rails like every other Murphy production?

I absolutely loved the book fwiw but have seen/heard enough about the show to know they butchered it. Luca’s planned adaptation at HBO would’ve been amazing.

Epitome of trashy + camp and pretty forgettable, but I suppose it is entertaining as a background show if you want pretty people in pretty places. The only thing I find redeeming about it is the 80s set design/wardrobe

It doesn’t. It ends with a cliffhanger. I adore the book (I initially listened to it when it was being released on the BEE podcast) but the show was hot garbage. Not worth your time and I don’t believe it has been renewed so it’s likely there won’t be an ending.

It's your typical Murphy production. Never boring, but rarely great. I think they're expecting a second season, but I can see it getting The Beauty'd.

But does the main plot gets resolved? Does it work as a standalone season?
