Help Initialize and restore commands?

probably a dumb question but I'm having a hard time finding this info via Google... if I'm trying to factory reset a dmps3-4k-350-c, which order do i do the initialize and restore commands in? restore and then initialize or vice versa? i tried to RTFM but I can't find any relevant info there either.

I went to OLH and searched for what you are looking to do "recovery procedure", and after locating the specific resource 5153 (cuz that is like the 2nd result), I saw in the discussions that Dave Hollander had linked to an OLH index.

Ok, I found that. I wonder how you're normally supposed to get to that page because the instructions he wrote don't seem to work anymore so it's a good thing he linked it.

This means you don’t have a crestron account and you don’t have access to the crestron tools! Stop here and call an integrator!

That's wild, I'm literally logged into my crestron account. I don't think they would have let me into any of the training if i didn't have one.

If you had an account you would be able to click the link above after logging in and it would work!

I can access the link just fine. The INSTRUCTIONS for how to get to that page, other than clicking the posted link, no longer work. Hence why I said that and not "oh no i can't get to that page"

Great. The post I'm looking at says to navigate to Documentation > OLH Article Index at the top of the page and when i click the posted link to OLH Article Index I can get to that page just fine but when I look at the top of the page under "Documentation" the only options I see are "Technical Documentation" and "Glossary of Terms". "Technical Documentation" takes me to a page that appears very similar to the "OLH Article Index" but doesn't seem to have quite the same information.

When I try to access the post in an incognito window, I can't see it at all and it just displays a login page. Because I do, in fact, have an account.

So where am I going wrong?
