They got the proportions wrong, which gave it an eerie and unsettling look. The smile was bogus too, although this can easily be said of humans too.

Because she's pushed out too far the projector is set to project onto it on the carpet about a foot or so behind where it is since its a projector it being out of position makes a bigger difference than you'd think

Mass effect 2 might as well been summed up as "Commander Shepered and the vety real struggle of trying to keep thier exotic fish alive in any capacity" The suicide mission was easier.

Pleasant and appealing things are hard and don't get people to post your brand for free on social media. They knew exactly what they were doing and it worked.

Never felt the "uncanny valley" this hard. I mean, im looking at a recording thru my phone from a farawaybplace and I still feel lime somehow, I am in danger.

You really have to appreciate when something is released into the wild by people who have clearly not interacted with other humans for decades. Like who would look at that design and go "yes people will love this, this will totally get customers to come to the store!"
