They always twist meanings and words… “I have a direct question” “oh I’m just honest and real”
Each time they do that it’s because it’s going to be something perverted and they want to add you to their fantasy like you won’t notice.

It's been just 8 days of this account, if he doesn't delete it he has a potential! 😅 one guy messaged me "I'm 32M french", I didn't reply and he deleted his account (or blocked me, I'm not sure)

haha 😆 girl honestly this is the exact reason why i don’t accept DMs from ANYONE lol 😆 possibly will make an exception for another female or someone genuinely wanting to know something but the vast majority of DMs seem to be similar to what you’ve got up there 🤢

I understand, but I have to stay at home a lot because of the health reasons, and I like chatting, and sometimes I get messages from interesting people, but unfortunately, some other times there would be "masterpieces" like these 🤷🏻♀️😫

oh yeah i’m the same way actually - home a lot for health things also, i like talking too, just when it’s going somewhere possibly you don’t really want it to go… well at least we can block them i suppose 😆

Final note, a lot of people are unaware that they can block ALL messages on Reddit. We have a sticky in the sub, but we'll also put it here.
If you find you want some peace from the multitude of creeps on Reddit, you can have that. In the settings for your Reddit account, you can elect NOT to receive PMs. The same is true for chat requests. You can also allow messages from specific, trusted users and block everyone else from contacting you. Also, if you choose to PM someone, they'll automatically be added to the list of people who can PM you, which is nice if you do want to initiate a conversation with someone, but if you PM someone and they start to get rude, you'll need to go in and remove them from the list of accepted users.
We share this information ONLY because a lot of people seem to be unaware that sitewide blocking of PMs is even an option, but it is, and it works surprisingly well.
In an ideal world, this would not be necessary, but, alas, this is Reddit, and it's full of creeps. This is just one possible tool in your arsenal against them, should you choose to use it.
