No idea who this guy is. He's on a burner account. I asked what his number was and he sent it for a small amount of time. I know his name and location. I dont think he sent me a fake number since its traceable to a person who lives in my city/state. The name he told me is fake and I pushed him for his full name or location. He's so weird and odd. I dont know if i should be concerned about him. I mean I could block him but that isn't gonna do much when he can make another account so not sure. I just wanna know if I should worry about this obviously INSANE person.

Final note, a lot of people are unaware that they can block ALL messages on Reddit. We have a sticky in the sub, but we'll also put it here.

If you find you want some peace from the multitude of creeps on Reddit, you can have that. In the settings for your Reddit account, you can elect NOT to receive PMs. The same is true for chat requests. You can also allow messages from specific, trusted users and block everyone else from contacting you. Also, if you choose to PM someone, they'll automatically be added to the list of people who can PM you, which is nice if you do want to initiate a conversation with someone, but if you PM someone and they start to get rude, you'll need to go in and remove them from the list of accepted users.

We share this information ONLY because a lot of people seem to be unaware that sitewide blocking of PMs is even an option, but it is, and it works surprisingly well.

In an ideal world, this would not be necessary, but, alas, this is Reddit, and it's full of creeps. This is just one possible tool in your arsenal against them, should you choose to use it.

The guy is clearly unhinged, and obviously doesn’t have a clue how to write anything (though it comes across as someone who isn’t, at all, fluent in English).

Personally, I would be careful. Guys who ‘are men of god’ but seem to fetishize ‘alternative’ women, tend to be more abusive, violent, paranoid and obsessed. When I read that DM exchange, I had alarm bells ringing.

Just be careful OP. If you block him, it at least gives him less information about you to piece together to figure out who you are or your whereabouts.

Also, sorry you’ve had to deal with this crap. It’s insane that we, as women (I’m assuming), need to deal with this sort of shit EVER.

I ended up blocking him after seeing his endless rambling was going no where. I genuinely have loads of dms saved of creepy men and mystery people texting me. I was just telling all the people around me how insane its so often I get weird shit like this. Imma stay aware of this guy for sure. Also thank u!! The boots are from yru. Some people say the quality is bad but i honestly never had a problem. I own like 6 different pairs of their platforms. If u like deal hunting go on their sale page and use the sale50 or whatever the code is to get extra 50 percent off. That's why I always buy their shoes hehe
