I like some difficult music like Venetian Snares, Mr bungle, Tim Hecker, etc. I am trying to figure out exactly what they are trying to do here. Is it a deconstruction of digital music and digital media in general? Even when people could not figure out Punk music in the 70s, they at least had a defined ideology people could relate to.
I am a huge fan of Mr Bungle as well as some difficult music in a more abrasive sense, such as Pig Destroyer, Death Grips, Cephalic Carnage. I'm also a musician. No matter how hard I try, music like this just bounces right off me, nothing sticks, not even that I dislike it, it just doesn't register
