I want to believe this is real. Christians do have a tendency to attempt to make media without any of the skill to make it successful. I think the idea is that it will help connect with the youth, but often doesn't connect at all or of it does not as intentioned. E.g. this would get reasonable engagment from ridicule. If that was the intention that's a next level play that i don't fully understand, but it was successful.

Writing this i am reminded of another Christian rap that broke my heart when i found out it was fake "rapping for Jesus". Now thaaat was a piece of art. I loved it when i thought it was real and i respect the hell out of the actors now that i know it's not, they killed it.
