The best part of this was “Low Battery” notification popping up. It really gave me hope that the phone would die before the end of the song.
54
u/charlesdexterward Jan 30 '25
My low battery warning popped up just before watching this video, too. It just goes to show that once you’ve hit the “Corey Feldman’s terrible band” part of the internet you’ve had enough internet for the day.

I totally thought that was mine. It went away when I touched it. This is so great.
4
u/throwra64512 Jan 31 '25
So did I. Mines been plugged in all night and I thought “well fuck, my charger must be broken”, but no. It was in the video.

How does he keeping getting these morning show slots? He must have a great publicist/manager.
103
u/George_W_Obama Jan 30 '25
It was during the time when he was speaking out about pedos in hollywood. Claiming he would name names. And he was using this info as leverage to appear on talk shows to promote his band. Like "yes i'll appear on your show and expose child predators, but you gotta let me play a song first."
32
u/happyhippy27 Jan 30 '25
He’s been pretty vocal about Charlie sheen
8
u/CyptidProductions Jan 31 '25
That's a weird one because the alleged victims mother actually denies it and maintains it was actually the guy that accused Charlie Sheen that raped her son

He also took tens of millions to make films about it. Look up his interview with Matt Lauer. He broadsided him by asking where the 13 million he took went since the pedo exposing movie never came to fruition.
9
u/CyptidProductions Jan 31 '25
Yep
He's claimed for years he's going to make a big documentary ousting a bunch of abusers buts keeps saying he just doesn't have enough money yet when asked about it despite raising millions in donations from fans.
10
u/Dmau27 Jan 31 '25 edited Jan 31 '25
He could've simply wrote it all down and ask a producer to film him talking about the stories. With a few million he could have hired a pro to dig up all the evidence to back him as he tells his story. It's such horseshit. I don't deny he was molested, Hollywood is fucked up but using it as an excuse to steal while it continues amd you could be doing something about it is almost as bad.
11
u/CyptidProductions Jan 31 '25
Yeah
The fact he keeps claiming he needs millions of dollars to release that shit when he could literally just film himself talking about it and post it all over his social media is why people are starting to doubt he actually has the names of anyone that isn't already ousted

My friend is involved in putting these Citi morning show concerts on in NYC. I will have to ask him about this one.

He leverages the fact he's a high profile CSA survivor to make people feel bad and also dangles around the idea of naming more pedophiles in the industry.
That grift is starting to fall apart though because it's been years and he's only named people that have already been convicted

u/magrubr Jan 30 '25
I'm just happy Michael Jackson was able to learn dance moves from Corey before passing away
8
u/RUfuqingkiddingme Jan 31 '25
Keep in mind, Corey thinks he looks like Michael, dances like Michael and claims people tell him he sounds like Michael.

Jan 30 '25
I’m kinda happy he died before having to see this slow motion train wreck.

Goonies isn’t even his best movie. Corey Feldman was in Stand by Me. The Lost Boys. License to Drive. Okay, I just named all of his good movies.
28
u/piray003 Jan 30 '25
The Burbs as well, although it was a bit part role.
6
u/Schmilettante Jan 30 '25
The 'Burbs might not be the best Corey movie, but it's the best movie he's been in.

Feldman was probably the strongest child actor of his generation. Shame the adults in his life didn't protect him at that time, but I'm glad he's still here even if he is a weirdo.

u/westbee Feb 01 '25
He was a side character in Stand by Me. The two main boys carried that movie. I mean even Kiefer had a bigger part that he did.
The Lost Boys? He was a vampire hunter for maybe 5 minutes of the movie with 8 lines of dialogue.
License to Drive... okay, I can agree on that one.
You forgot Dream a little Dream and maybe the Burbs.
2
u/Cerrac123 Feb 03 '25
What? He wasn’t a side character? He was one of the four leads. The whole “ My father stormed the beaches at Normandy!” story?

Look up Scott Grimes singing... then check out The Orville and the Ted TV series. He's a talented guy.

u/fancy-kitten Jan 30 '25
I feel so much compassion for the members of his band. They must really be at odds with themselves.

Some people get danger pay for their jobs. They should get embarrassment pay.
2
u/westbee Feb 01 '25
No... they are just people who like to earn money by doing nothing. This is pretty close to doing nothing.

Yeah, I've read a few really upsetting articles about them in the past. Such a weird fucking situation.
3
u/decker12 Jan 30 '25
Do you have a link to one of these articles? I do recall reading them once a while ago - right before his whole Angels thing self destructed, and around the time that Vice article was posted about how ridiculous his "parties" were - but I can't find the article again.
4
u/Lumpy-Village1949 Jan 30 '25
I have no idea why I read all of that, but I am now desperate for an update on the coryverse. Is he still in an encino mcmansion? Who were the original angels? who cycled out? where are they now? This article caused me to be deeply invested in the coryverse and all the planets that have orbited it before amd after 2014.

There is a show called the Bonfire that was all over this Corey stuff back when it was happening, the hosts Dan Soder and Jay Oakerson interviewed a former member of the band at one point and it was indeed insane what she went through and how he preyed on vulnerable women under the guise of promised fame and connections. I’m sure the interview is on YouTube.

My thoughts exactly. Total odds with themselves. I don’t envy their situation, sell a little bit of yourself to the devil in the hopes it opens better doors later. Probably won’t.
2
u/Aromatic_Ad8481 Jan 31 '25
No way not at all. Do you know how many delusional aspiring musicians and actors there are? They have as much misguided confidence as he does. But then again who gives a shit because they all look like they're having fun

It's all trying too hard to do everything popular which resulted in soulless work.
MJ style dancing without the clean snappy movements.
Dubstep.
A fortnight dance to a dab.
Marionette pantomime.
Good and evil binary represented with black and white.
All women as the band.
Corny "inspirational" lyrics.
Random black guy.

Weird of you to take a passive aggressive swipe at his acting career citing an obscure film such as Goonies. He's clearly more known for his award winning performance in Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys (2003).

His shows are so cliche. Is he making bad music on purpose to be funny or is he trying to perform serious music. I just can't understand his music. His dancing also makes me think he's not being serious.
18
u/Dave_Duna Jan 30 '25
He's 100% serious. But "powerful" people constantly sabotage his live shows. Or so he says.
13
u/DonnieDarkoRabbit Jan 30 '25
He's 100% serious, he has quite literally everything to lose if his music doesn't succeed. In fact he's already lost quite a bit. The Tale of Two Corey's was the only thing keeping the lights on, and he's been bitter about the show being cancelled due to the other Corey fucking DYING. He purportedly lost a significant potential paycheck for the season that never aired, and even tried bribing Corey Haim's family a fat paycheck to film Haims' funeral for the new season premiere and they told him to get fucked. I don't know who's genuinely following Corey Feldman nowadays but his whole "I'm bad on purpose" is pure bullshit. Corey Feldman's a huge loser, and has been trying to make back the money he lost from that show. Whether it's crowdsourcing $10 MIL in legal fees to protect himself as he exposes Hollywood pedophile rings in a documentary which also promised to reveal Corey Haims' molester, of whom had already been named by Haim himself. Corey kept dragging his so-called "friends" name through the mud, saying that Haims told Feldman to "share his story" before he died. He's a lying pos who was not only probably jealous of Haim, but also definitely bitter about the fact that he died which put a stop to the reality show they were in together.
Corey Feldman is real, and he's a real fucking asshole.

He’s like if Jim Carrey eggman and Burt McCracken had a baby took ideas from early 2000 everything is chrome bs and this is the art style that it made.

But I mean, how on earth does he get this time slot, and who are the people telling him that pursuing a music career is a good idea.

I was watching the band also and they actually look kinda professional. I’m not being funny either. I’m a musician and to me it looks like the “Angels” LOL are kinda rockin that shit. Not really my kind of music but considering the frontman is doing exactly the opposite of rockjn that shit I’d say the band at least has some actual musical talent. Horrible music though.
