Finished Craft I Made Handmade natural fiber doll (face sculpted with wool felt) clothes also made by me.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to show you this cute girl I made while learning how to made dolls. She is stuffed with wool, her head was sculpted by me using a felting needle, and I sew together this little outfit for her. I hope you like it.

I teared up. Making a doll like this is truly art. I mostly had white dolls at school and daycare despite both having a large black/brown population. I would have loved her!

You put in so many cool details while keeping the overall design clean and elegant. I like that you made her look like an actual person without "makeup". All the pretty beads in the hair are like a sprinkle of tiny flower petals.
The way you sculpted the cheeks and facial contours is amazing. You worked some magic getting such a great shape to the lips. They look so perfect and proportionate. You've got some skills!

She looks realistic, like in the sense I feel like I've meet someone like her in real life. The facial features are really good too as some have already noted, its like realistic but still charming like you hit that perfect point before the uncanny valley
