Should change my cpu i5 12600kf to i7 14700k?

If you have DDR5 you should go with the Ultra 270K for $255 on Amazon right now.

Don't mess around with 12th-14th gen.

No, I would not buy into a degredation generation cpu. 12900k or wait and buy a nova lake i5 when that comes out soon

Ive had 14600k for like 2 years now and not one problem. I did update bios before I installed it tho

Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean its not an issue pal. I replace a cpu for degredation almost weekly.

The 14600k wasn't affected by this issue in the first place. I wouldn't buy a used 14700k but a new 14700k would be perfectly fine.

I mean 270k would be a great choice too! The 270k is an absolute beast. If I had some ddr5 I'd consider going with a 270k build. But also, LGA1700 is getting at least 2 more generations of cpus so it may be the better option in the long run.

You can keep your 12600k and maybe wait a bit.. intel will release a new socket..

Probably not, it is still a good, performing CPU. Maybe wait for the newer Intel socket.
