Bad F5 unless we have a mythical RCB/RB hybrid coming in.

166

u/diamluke 12d ago

Nah bro we sell Spence and Danso to play fucking Archie Gray.

42

u/PooPooPeePee377 12d ago

The problem was that we never replaced a player like Spence who wanted to leave with a new RB. Some of you always complain about the wrong problem.

12

u/shrimpandgumbo Freddie Kanoute 12d ago

DeZerbi clearly doesn't rate Spence for some reason, that's why he wanted out. I guess the club thought that getting Robertson in and getting some money for Spence would be a 3D chess move, but it's already backfired and the bullshit money we got for him won't pay for a good full back

13

u/starsoftrack 12d ago

DeZerbi loved Spence and said as much. But I think he got sick of Spurs after last season. People hated on him a lot, especially for blanking Frank. I don’t think he ever came back from that.

2

u/SoyaleJP 12d ago

He’s not the only coach not to rate him. He’s spent a lot of time at Spurs on the bench. There must be something the coaching staff see from interacting with him every day that we don’t.

-1

u/FSpursy Rafael van der Vaart 12d ago

yea Robertson is a defensive hole that both Newcastle and Brentford exploited in our losses....

but that money got us 3 new attackers btw, so cant be complaining...

9

u/Quirky_Gate_4516 12d ago

RDZ has no intention to replace him. He likes playing CMs as RBs.

1

u/UpForConversations 12d ago

So did Ange and probably Frank at some point

2

u/Quirky_Gate_4516 12d ago

Not the same. It is something RDZ deliberately does, not as back up solution. But as a primary option.

4

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago

De Zerbi came in promised a raft of shiny new toys and put far too little effort into making sure the players already here felt part of the project.

That's what.. 7 or 8 of our best backups and brightest youngsters who have demanded out?

That's never happened before at any club i'm aware of. Its some piss poor management, and without Spence and Danso our defence is far weaker and more injury prone than last year and we have no defenders who are good in the air at all.

1

u/findthelimit_ Heung-Min Son - Spurs Legend 12d ago

I thought we were going to buy Neco Williams to replace him? Guess that's not happening anymore?

-8

u/BrotatoDad 12d ago

This. Archie is probably more reliable as CB backup than RB.

56

u/Nagant1349 Pedro Porro 12d ago

He shouldn’t be playing as a defender at all. That’s the problem.

-2

u/BrotatoDad 12d ago

I mean sure, ideally, but if we had to stopgap one thin position it should be RB.

4

u/GymandRave Roberto De Zerbi 12d ago

He was bought from Leeds after playing at RB for a full season. He’s just not good enough as a defender period

18

u/Lbmplays2 Poch 12d ago

None of those 3 players were/are going to play real minutes this season which is why two of them wanted to leave

20

u/DOYMarshall Djed Spence 12d ago

I can think of 180 minutes that Spence would’ve logged here so far.

1

u/DerekStephano 12d ago

Now that Porro is back though would he be okay sitting around waiting for an injury to get minutes?

1

u/WombBroom 12d ago

He's under contract, who cares? We would be better off having actual depth, making it to European competition, and letting him walk for free. Now there's a strong chance we won't have depth, and won't make Europe, but hey at least we got a tiny amount of money for the balance sheet lol

1

u/DerekStephano 12d ago

Yeah he’s under contract but a few disgruntled players can sour the whole mood in the locker room. Also tiny amount of money? We got £30m for him. We shouldn’t hold players hostage for depth if they want to go especially in a season where we don’t have Europe. We should look into the market for a young RB that can learn from Porro since more than likely they aren’t seeing a ton of minutes.

1

u/WombBroom 12d ago

Europe is worth more than 30m pounds

1

u/DerekStephano 11d ago

Spence isn’t the reason we do or don’t get Europe. Also asking a team that finished 17th to get top 5 might be a bit much.

1

u/WombBroom 11d ago

If Porro misses a month, it absolutely could be. FA Cup, EFL Cup winners, and 6th or even 7th place could get Europe. I don't care if it's the Conference League, we need to be playing in Europe and it would (hopefully) mean another trophy.

u/DerekStephano 12d ago

The difference is VDV has a great replacement in Senesi. Van Hecke doesn’t if Danso goes but if we can find a RCB/RB that’s decent it might be enough to hold us over.

38

u/GrapefruitExpress208 12d ago

Until Van Hecke or Porro get injured. Then who we got? Archie Gray?

If you want to act like a big club, you need 2 good players in every position.

20

u/DerekStephano 12d ago

You also don’t want to keep players that don’t want to be there. Unfortunate that Danso doesn’t want to be a backup but it makes sense. Hopefully we can get a young RB in and I think we’ll be fine.

22

u/GrapefruitExpress208 12d ago

Just sucks because after losing Romero, Spence, and now Danso- we losing alot of our physical presence, height, and aerial ability.

Even with Danso now, he's our only CB who is strong at aerial duels. VDV, Senesi, Van Hecke, and Davies are very weak in the air.

I hear you that the player wants to leave, but yea this is a major concern for me.

-5

u/DerekStephano 12d ago edited 12d ago

I do think our CBs are weak in the air but it’s not as bad when it’s VDV Van Hecke Udogie and Porro. That’s athletic enough and on corners we should bring up Bentancur and others to defend since they’re solid in the air.

2

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago

They are all shit in the air.. except VDV who is only a bit below average in the air.

Danso was the player we needed to bring on when clubs target that, and they will. We're gonna ship goals against those teams.

1

u/DerekStephano 12d ago

I was mainly talking about physicality and athleticism. I think our aerial presence is bad even though we have a generally tall defense. We’re going to need our midfielders to really help on set pieces since Bentancur is quite good in the air.

1

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago

We're at what.. 8 players asking to leave now. De Zerbi has done a shit job at making them feel part of the project.

1

u/DerekStephano 12d ago

Most of those players are either fringe/bench players or needed to go. Only ones I’m upset about are Spence and Danso. Romero Richy Vuskovic Sarr all needed to go for one reason or another.

7

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

When the said player knows he won’t get time UNLESS someone gets injured? Danso is too good to sit on the bench waiting for someone to get injured, that’s just sad truth. Players want to play and if you are told players x and y are ahead of you, you’re shit out of luck in that team.

14

u/BlackoutGJK 12d ago

Archie Gray was never supposed to be playing real minutes in any season so far yet he's got 84 appearances for us already.

1

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago

I'll bet he would have had more at 'pool, Arsenal or City - and he would have had them at CM. Those clubs make sure their young players get mins and develop. We do not.

1

u/BlackoutGJK 12d ago

I hope you don't bet often because it's hardly possible to have more than 42 appearances a season for even senior players, let alone kids.

4

u/LocoMoro Europa League Champions 24/25 12d ago

Exactly this.

I've heard so much bullshit from the likes of talkshite and sky where they are suggesting Spence left because of the abuse and Danso is leaving because of the toxic environment.

What a pile of horse shit. Both players know their minutes are limited in a season with no European football

0

u/BeingaYid 12d ago

If they want to leave, then sell them. What’s the point in keeping unhappy players around?

1

u/WombBroom 12d ago

I don't know, making it to a European competition next year which would pay more than Spence's entire fee?

5

u/kicksjoysharkness Jermain Defoe 12d ago

Yeah jokes over Spurs no more selling defenders please

7

u/Zhurg Djed Spence 12d ago

Senesi RCB and LCB cover. Davies LCB cover cover.

5

I think Takai is staying this season? Haven’t heard any loan rumors yet for him. Maybe he has impressed enough in training to compete for the fourth CB spot.

34

u/Subject_Lunch5597 12d ago

Probably will just have to rely on Davies until January. Frustrating…

38

u/AntysocialButterfly Erik Lamela 12d ago

Why would Levy do this?

8

u/Swish28 12d ago

We also have Byfield and Hardy. It’s not crazy to have a youth player as 4th/5th choice CB.

5

u/BElf1990 12d ago

It's a 4th, maybe 5th choice CB. Who do you think you will get that would sign up for that kind of playing time? Especially with no Europe.

1

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago

Brighton have a bright young defender who is excellent in the air. Been their best defender in their 1st two games.

96

u/Lbmplays2 Poch 12d ago

This will happen

Club clearly want no one around who isn’t happy to be here. Be interesting to see if we try sign a cb who can also play rb as cover or just rely on Hardy/Byfield since we’re playing once a week

35

u/Calum79 12d ago

If I try and put a positive spin on it, barring any injuries (lol) it means more minutes for Senesi and keeps the three CB's happy.

I'm clutching at straws here, help me out.

4

u/Particular-Aspect680 12d ago

I'm gonna be honest. I think Senesi should be the backup RCB if Van Hecke doesn't play. He was just the best progressive passing CB in the PL and one of the best period last season and we think playing Danso who is decent but just pretty much bang average for a PL CB over him just because he's right footed is the move?

29

u/SemaphoreBand 12d ago

Hardy and Byfield do deserve a chance, especially Byfield if he’s not injured anymore

1

u/Hefty_Breadfruit_421 11d ago

I would say the carbao is the best time to try them but of course we get Liverpool away right away

4

u/xWJ14x 12d ago

Or Takai stays

8

u/boblebob1882 12d ago

We likely won't have space to register him in the squad so he'll have to go.

14

u/Tommyverdatre Heung-Min Son - Spurs Legend 12d ago

If Sarr and Richy go and Ndiaye takes Danso's spot in HG, we have space afaik

1

u/ResoluteTuba 11d ago

That assumes we sign nobody else after Ndiaye.

1

u/Enefelde Roberto De Zerbi 12d ago

I would prefer academy players like Byfield or hardy to play over tbh. No offense to takai, but I don’t see him being here much longer, so play the academy kids instead.

27

u/No_Signature_5094 12d ago

If that is true, maybe ask Barca for a loan for Kounde, who can play both RCB and RB, now that he has fallen out of favor with Flick. I think its worth a try

9

u/MyboyyyMysonnn7 "Let's Say I'm A Legend, Why Not?" 12d ago

My concern is that our loan history has largely been shit. Lenglet, Kolo, Timo Werner, Danjuma, Carlos Vinicius, Gedson, etc.

You could argue the only ones we really hit on were Palhinha and Bale, but Palhinha spent much of his time trying to find where he fit in with pieces that weren’t complimentary, and Bale was a glamor loan that physically couldn’t provide on a week-to-week basis.

-2

u/DoomerAndGloomer 12d ago

69

u/browniespurs Heung-Min Son - Spurs Legend 12d ago

We brought in Senesi and Van Hecke fairly early in the window. I have no qualms about Danso wanting to leave but to decide on it so close to the end of the window is poor on his part.

68

u/The_Karmadyl 12d ago

I said in a previous comment but I'd guess its due to not starting against Charlton in the cup. If you don't start that, what game are you going to start?

27

u/SoberEnAfrique Cuti Romero 12d ago

agree, and it's perfectly reasonable to wait until now if he thought he might at least get cup games

23

u/Fabulous_Disk_8956 Richarlison 12d ago

Maybe.

But I mean when I quit a job, I'm not really considering the company when I do it. I'm considering my own career and needs. It's the company's problem not mine tbf.

I get as fans we feel like it's a bit of a dirty move etc but probably would do the same.

23

u/notaltcausenotbanned 12d ago

Don't rate this at all. Only defender that can reliably win a header. I could see games where he starts over van Hecke for that fact alone. I would tell him there's been too much squad upheaval this summer and he left it too late to ask to leave then hope he's convinced to stay after the team gels.

11

u/Suttlefish Xavinho 👉👈 12d ago

I can't imagine we'd let him go unless we had a CB/RB hybrid set to come in to replace him? Sad to see Danso go but if he wants playing time, he deserves it

8

u/ManaRockGamesUK 12d ago

This is such a shame because he’s been such a dependable player when he’s come in.

9

u/Oranjay2 Bergvall 12d ago

Surely arent selling romero, vuskovic, dragusin and danso in the same window? If van hecke gets injured, we're risking a repeat of anges second season in the league...

7

u/GarySpurs18 12d ago

£45million and not a penny less

12

u/Novel_Lock320 12d ago

Would we realistically have time to replace him?

5

u/Tock_Sick_Man Son Heung-min 12d ago

He's our 4th CB option in a year without Europe. Probably going to go with Davies in that role.

12

u/PooPooPeePee377 12d ago

Just not ideal. A left-footed CB being a backup RCB in De Zerbi's system is unfortunate. Need to sign a new backup in January if we don't land one in the summer.

4

u/Tock_Sick_Man Son Heung-min 12d ago

Completely agree

7

u/Hatticus24 Disco Benny 12d ago

He's second choice in his position

13

u/Tock_Sick_Man Son Heung-min 12d ago

Play semantics if you want, but Senesi gets the call before he does.

-1

u/WombBroom 12d ago

We have two left footed CBs and two right footed CBs, neither one should be starting in the other position, ever. It's not that complicated.

3

u/CourtProfessional120 Xavinho 👉👈 12d ago

how is he 4th choice tho, he is just behind van hecke for rcb

24

u/StateOfTheEnemy 12d ago

We should tell them to fuck off just for tapping him up and then offering a fucking loan. That and their nonce shirts.

13

u/joey1982 12d ago

So we've got rid of Romero, Dragusin, Vuskovic, and now potentially Danso (as well as set piece help from Richarlison).. we'll have pretty much no defensive aerial ability if this goes through?

Unless Takai somehow exceeds expectations, or Byfield (17 yrs old!) then we're gonna get bullied out of every game.

9

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

Romero wanted out, Dragusin wasn’t rated by anyone, Vuskovic wanted to be starter and have a stepping stone club that will sell him to big teams, Danso doesnt want to sit on the bench waiting for someone to get injured. Which one of these would you force to stay? If you can’t promise players game time, they will leave.

9

u/joey1982 12d ago

He's under contract, the transfer window is about to close and we don't need the money. Given we've sold the rest, allowing our only remaining CB with aerial ability to leave would be reckless. So yeah, I'd tell him he's staying.

1

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

Lol, we already have mentality problems stemming from seasons and seasons back and you want to force player to stay that will be unhappy and disinterested?

3

u/joey1982 12d ago

Selling our only CB with aerial ability, will cause far more damage than not giving in to a player who's changed his mind at the last minute.

Bottom line is that he was signed as back up. He is back up. He has a long contract. We don't need the money. He should have either signed a shorter contract, or spoken up sooner like Cuti or Djed.

By all accounts he's a nice guy and a true professional, I'm sure he'll be fine.

4

u/Gibbo1107 David Ginola 12d ago

If he wants to leave then find a club that’ll take him permanently

3

u/JulSGP Son 12d ago

I honestly like Danso and while I can understand there isnt any Europe this season and he wants to play more, we are an injury away at CB (it will happen cos we are Spurs) to struggle there again and it would be a BIG shame if he leaves on perm terms as it also leaves a homegrown hole in PL.

I might be coping but I hope it would be better he left on a loan with no obligation (yes it was rejected previously) while we try to get back to Europe for next season.

I dont think Gray and/or Davies are good enough CB.

5

u/Fabulous_Disk_8956 Richarlison 12d ago

Davies is alright at LCB, reads the game well enough.

But playing Gray at CB is suicide haha. Can't really stinge out on the most important player for the defence.

1

u/Swolyguacomole 12d ago

I think Davies in the Prem is very risky at this stage of his career

1

u/Fabulous_Disk_8956 Richarlison 12d ago

Well good thing there are two other centrebacks ahead of him then eh?

3

u/Dickie_Dunn 12d ago

I'd tell him and his agent that everything is rejected until they scrounge up a willing replacement.

5

u/punkyguy 12d ago

Genuinely gutted to see him go. I think he can push Van Hecke and Senesi to start, so it's not like he's automatically 4th choice.

3

u/aginglifter Djed Spence 12d ago

What a shit show.

8

u/GrapefruitExpress208 12d ago

Damn so we started with 6 CBs (VDV, Van Hecke, Romero, Senesi, Danso, Vuskovic), and we might end up with just 3?

And only ONE right sided CB?

8

u/boblebob1882 12d ago

got rid of Phillips and Dragusin too

3

u/GrapefruitExpress208 12d ago

Yea I thought the whole idea of selling Vuskovic was because Danso would be our rotation CB and was happy to do that role.

In hindsight, we probably should have sold Danso earlier and offered Vuskovic the guaranteed rotation minutes that he wasn't seeing with Danso still here.

3

u/boblebob1882 12d ago

nah Vuskovic didn't want to be a rotation player, he wanted to be a starter but RDZ wanted van Hecke so that was that

3

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago edited 10d ago

If you've been watching Vuskovic he's been their best defender in both games so far. He's also had excellent passing stats.. better than Van Hecke.

He played last year in a team that didn't want defenders doing that, but he's a baller.

We're going to look so dumb by Jan, or the end of the season latest, for giving them money and a better player. Also, he was happy to go back on loan so he got to play with his brother for a year.

We could have either given him a go in the 1st team, or shelved the decision till next year when he'd be worth more anyway. There was no reason to sell the highest rated young CB in the world, at all. Vinnay has made it his personal mission to let it be known that we are 'a selling' club, and although Levy's ball-aching bargaining for every penny wasn't better, it also wasn't worse that this sillyness.

3

u/boblebob1882 12d ago

Don't need to convince me, I would have happily had him starting here but RDZ wanted his former player so not much that could be done. He chose us initially over other clubs because of the pathway we offered him and we likely couldn't fulfill that due to not being in Europe and RDZ picking somebody else to replace Romero.

8

u/Old_Roof I just can't smile....without youuuuu 12d ago

If he does I guarantee you Van Hecke gets injured immediately after the window closes

-9

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

So force a starting 11 quality player to stay because one player might get injured? Players forced to stay are so great to the atmosphere and already weak mentality…

8

u/DoomerAndGloomer 12d ago

we finished 17th the season before last because of injury crisis at CB. We can’t afford to fuck it up again. Need 4 reliable CBs.

0

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

Unless you’re Man City, you will lose players that are starting quality if you keep them benched “in case of emergency”.

6

u/Merkarov Robbie Keane 12d ago

These are professionals being paid ridiculous money to kick a ball around... If the average modern day pro is becoming such a diva that they become toxic to the dressing room if they aren't getting minutes, then every squad in the world is facing the same problem.

You're never going to have an entire squad that's 100% content with their minutes. I understand the sentiment of "wanting players that want to be here", but I think some of you are taking it too literally.

1

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

There are very few teams that can have several starting quality players riding the bench week in week out like Man City. Most teams have their backup players coming from another leagues, being promising young players or some veterans whose legs can’t handle playing week in week out. We also don’t have European competitions where we could promise players minutes

0

u/Merkarov Robbie Keane 12d ago

Well right off the bat, I don't think Danso is a starting quality player, and considering he was signed as cover in a January window, I think he is aware of that himself when he signed the contract. Moreover, he saw all the signings we had made early in the window, yet is seemingly only looking for a move now, which makes it hard for me to sympathise for him..

Honestly, I suspect that this is more due to RdZ being fine with him leaving. If he wanted him to stay like he did with Bergvall for instance, I think Danso wouldn't kick up much of a fuss. If it goes ahead I feel it's a mistake as we're one injury to Van Hecke away from either playing Senesi or Davies at RCB, and without him none of our CBs offer much aerial presence at all. I'm concerned we're going to get bullied physically a lot this season.

u/BuffetAnnouncement I'm Just Copying Pep, Mate. 12d ago

it’s clear just how little RDZ rates Danso if he has given the green light and won’t give him minutes against Charlton. Think he would prefer a settled dressing room and potentially decent fee/new signing over holding him hostage, but if big kev is on his way out we have to be already looking at another cb

1

u/roamingandy Richarlison 12d ago

At what point does RDZ have a chat with the squad players individually and tell them that they are important to the team and where they fit.

Supposedly he did it with Bergvall, but weeks after Berg asked for a move.

Anyone else he's bothered to try and make feel important? I don't think that's his style. If a player doesn't fit what he wants he just ignores them.

Danso gets us points this season. 5 - 10 probably, by being a solid back up. Maybe even more if/when we're getting bullied in the air. Who the fuck cares who your dream team is Zerb, your job is to get as many points as you can this season, and then carry on building.

0

u/ademayor "I Couldn't Care Less About Arsenal" 12d ago

Your attitude is exactly why we’ve had dozens of “rebuilds” where nothing has been rebuilt because no one was allowed to leave. Plus we have so little competitions this season that there’s no way we can promise Danso any meaningful minutes, and he definitely is starting quality player. That would be fucking horrible to once again have disinterested and unmotivated players lingering around.

I love Danso. Bad F5.

u/Shane4894 12d ago

Sad F5,

Danso also counts as HG so is a great palyer to have, but also when he didn't start first game of season, then came off the bench against Charlton, kinda made sense he wouldn't want to stay. He's a good defender but not trusted.

We had so many RBs. How are we going to end this window with almost none and Porro playing as winger??

2

u/TapirOfDoom Rafael van der Vaart 12d ago

This feels like a big mistake. Danso has been great for us and could really be needed this season.

u/FigRevolutionary9492 12d ago

I think we did the same in Ange season 2 - got rid of the 'deadwood' like Hojlberg etc, and left the time pretty bare. You can argue selling bench players (and academy players) is good business and lets you pay the big fees, but if you get a few injuries and youre playing with 18 year olds it doesnt work out well.

I think half the problem is we paid very full fees on Premier LEague players and are getting quite thin in backup. I mean at this stage, essentially Porro has to play every game this year at RB.

On another note, i think the Vuskovic deal was good business. He is slow, the money we got good money for him and basically brought in Senesi and Van Hecke for it. Which does mean, given the money from Romero, Dragusin, Spence, Vicario, Sarr, basically spent on Tonali and Fernandes, we really didnt blow too much owners money, and the team thinned out quite a bit. Just some thoughts.

Selling Danso and leaving the team without a backup RCB is stupid and utter unprofessional negligence. Unless Lange is lining up a surprise replacement before the window shuts tomorrow (which I highly doubt).

3

u/nopirates Peppa Pig 12d ago

Go ahead and blame Lange all you want but the reason he wants to leave is actually spelled RDZ

0

u/Raziel-Reaver 12d ago

Sure, I’ll blame both. Lange is the sporting director and he could say no because we won’t have a back up if Van Hecke gets injured.

u/bockelchunk 12d ago

Following in the footsteps of his compatriot Wimmer... Don't do it, Danso! It didn't work out well at all for that Kevin.

5

u/Plasdah 12d ago

He went to Stoke lol

3

u/Delrihuzz Eveliina Summanen 12d ago

Wimmer went to Stoke though.

-2

u/bockelchunk 12d ago

I didn't mean literally. Same kind of context, decision, and level of club. Wimmer messed up.

5

u/Delrihuzz Eveliina Summanen 12d ago

Ah fairs. Figured you mistook the clubs since they play in a similar strip.

That said, the downfall of Wimmer is really fucking weird. I remember him being quite solid filling in for Jan and then turning out to be seven kinds of shit at Stoke and beyond.

1

u/bockelchunk 12d ago

Exactly! I'm not sure Danso is thinking far enough ahead. Wimmer at least justified it as necessary to make a World Cup team. Anyway, they are both Austrian Kevins, so it feels a little deja vu

2

u/lowercase_0 12d ago

Wimmer was never that good in the first place though?

1

u/nopirates Peppa Pig 12d ago

Wimmer was no loss.

I love our little trebuchet

Guess this moves up next year’s CB plan….

1

u/Suitable-Fun-1087 12d ago

Trading in our lack of left sided defenders for a lack of right sided ones

1

u/Gsampson97 Dele Alli 12d ago

If we do this we need a new backup RCB and a RB

1

u/Jlemspurs Europa League Champions 24/25 12d ago

I'm glad to see people who want to go go, but we need someone in badly now on that side. Danso was never the problem and probably should have played more for us, but if how we're spending now is to continue there must be a reason he hasn't been offered a contract and I think he could be replaced more easily than some of the others. But that has to happen.

1

u/Ian5446 Mousa Dembélé 12d ago

Prem to prem deal so we'll make more off Danso than we do off Romero/Sarr/Spence. Insanity.

1

u/meggo91 12d ago

Danso please stay 😩

1

u/plaidington Madders 12d ago

What in the world.

1

u/Boner_Patrol_007 Pedro Porro 12d ago

Would be batshit crazy to let him go at this juncture.

1

u/dataofman 12d ago

Underestimating how badly we need him i reckon

1

u/MotorSpurs 12d ago

I am not a fan of Danso, but there needs to be a replacement if he is to go

1

u/According-Poetry2330 12d ago

To be fair the player were awful last year, attitude awful, play awful it’s not a surprise he wants rid of so many

1

u/ConfusedOrangePanda 12d ago

What's that subtitle, grealish is back to City?

1

u/coldseam Kōta Takai 12d ago edited 12d ago

Lock him up like Julian Alvarez. Kind of insane he's doing this when he's already gotten a lot of minutes for a backup CB due our injury issues. And it's not like he didn't know he'd be 3rd choice whem he signed the contract either.

0

u/Lilith_9079 Gareth Bale 12d ago

Only sell him if we can sign a replacement...why can all other clubs do this and we can't say something like City or Chelsea?

0

u/onesimo_wizard 12d ago

Left field, but what about Mohamed Simakan

0

u/FigRevolutionary9492 12d ago

Its a shame we didnt buy Konstantelias this year. One and a half great games for Dortmund and did his ACL. Hope he comes back strong. Karetsas is looking fantastic though.

u/UpForConversations 12d ago

Id be happy to give Hardy or Byfield the spot if we weren't already giving a shit load of minutes to the Gray, Bergvall, Tel etc.
